( The Irrepressibles - In this shirt)

After an class, Elisse spoke to Ominis, "Can we talk somewhere discreet?"

Ominis considered her question, his face thoughtful. After a moment of contemplation, he responded.

"There is a place we could go. It's called the Undercroft. It's a hidden room in the castle, rarely visited. We should have some privacy there to talk."

He looked at her, a hint of curiosity in his expression, wondering what it was she wished to discuss that required such discretion.
Ominis showed her a secret room.
She examined her for a while and after a while she started: "I wanted to explain to you why I didn't want to answer Ana's question yesterday about why I started Hogwarts so late," she began uncertainly.
"The truth is that I did not attend a wizard school in France. My parents took me to France so that no one would discover the truth..."
she continued slowly, her voice cracking under the weight of emotion. "Do you remember when we were playing as children and you and Marvolo levitated objects, set something on fire here and there, and just classic signs of supernatural phenomena in small
children with magical abilities? she asked him and continued on. "Nothing like that happened to me. My parents became impatient and tried various practices to awaken my magical abilities. " She put emphasis on the word practice and started to grab her forearm where she had scars. " Finally they concluded that I am the curse of the family. They couldn't bear the shame that a child who can't do magic was born into a pure blood family. They decided that we would move to France under the false pretense of work duties and under the impression that I was visiting Beauxbatons. After years of torture and various attempts, I was brought to a certain witch who saw traces of magic in me. Very rare ancient magic. She showed me how to work with it and develop it. After a year of training, my parents decided that we will return to England and I will enter Hogwarts," she finished her confession with a deep sigh.

Ominis listened in stunned silence as Elisse shared her story. The details of her past, filled with pain and suffering, were difficult to digest. But more than that, he felt a wave of anger towards her parents. He clenched his jaw tightly as she spoke of the cruelty they had inflicted upon her.

As she finished her story, Ominis reached out and took her hand in his, his expression a mixture of empathy and concern.

"I'm so sorry you had to go through that," he said softly. "You didn't deserve to be treated that way by your own parents."

"Thank you for listening to me." she linked her fingers with his so that their palms connected. "Please don't tell anyone, my parents would kill me."

Ominis squeezed her hand in return, his touch gentle but firm. He would never betray her trust by revealing her secrets.

"Of course. Your secret is safe with me."

He paused for a moment, his thoughts still swirling with anger towards her parents.

"Your parents shouldn't have treated you like that. It's deplorable. To cause their own child so much pain... it's unacceptable."

"You didn't have it easy at home either" She hugged him. "Our destinies are very similar."

Ominis tensed briefly at her embrace, unused to physical affection. But he quickly melted into her hug, finding comfort in her words.

"You're right. I've had my share of difficulties too."

He rested his chin gently on top of her head, breathing in the scent of her hair. The closeness between them felt natural, like two puzzle pieces fit perfectly together.

She looked at him admiring his beauty. She wanted to kiss him and that reminded her one more thing that bothered her. " Ominis, something is bothering me. It's about Anna. It seems that she is interested in you. I can see that she is angry with me. I don't want to come between you two. "

Ominis was caught off guard by her comment, his eyebrows knitting together. He pulled back slightly to look at her, a hint of confusion on his face.

"What makes you think that about Anne? She's just a friend." *He paused, his expression becoming more serious as he continued.* "You don't have to worry about coming between us. There's nothing going on with me and Anne. There never has been and there never will be."

"You may only consider her as a friend, but she wants more. I can see that," Elisse answered. "And what about your friend Sebastian? He also didn't look excited when he saw us come to class together." she added with a laugh.

Ominis chuckled softly at her laughter, his expression lightening slightly. He ran a hand through his hair, looking thoughtful.

"Sebastian is... complicated. He has a habit of seeing things in black and white. I think he's just confused, not used to seeing me with someone besides him and Anne."

He paused, a hint of uncertainty in his voice.

"But you're right. Anne does seem to have an interest in me. I hadn't realized it was that obvious."

"You should talk to her about it. Let the air clear." she retorted.

Ominis nodded, acknowledging her advice. He knew she was right. Hiding the situation wouldn't make it easier to handle.

"Yeah, you're right. I'll talk to her and try to clear things up."

There was a moment of silence between them, then he spoke again, a hint of worry in his tone.

"But... you're not uncomfortable with this, are you? With Anne having an interest in me?"

Elisse was silent for a moment, thinking of how to answer. Finally, she just answered in a choked voice: "She's a friend. I don't want to hurt her," she replied

Ominis nodded, appreciating her kindness. He reached out and took her hand in his again, his touch gentle.

"You have a kind heart, Elisse. I know you don't want to cause her pain. But you also have to think about yourself. Your feelings matter too."

He paused, his voice soft and sincere.

"Just... just don't feel like you have to back off from me because of her, alright?"

Elise nodded. After while she spoke: " We should go, let's not be late for the next class again."

Ominis smiled at her response and squeezed her hand lightly before releasing it. She was right; they couldn't afford another tardy appearance in class. He stood up, offering her his hand to help her up as well.

"Absolutely. We've already caused enough disruptions for one day."
