( James Arthur - Train wreck)

It was after graduation.
Elisse said goodbye to her friends. She and Anne hugged each other tightly and promised to visit each other whenever possible. With Sebastian she exchanged a knowing look and wished each other well without hugging. Ominis gave Sebastian a brotherly hug and gave Anna a formal kiss on both cheeks.
He then took Elisse's hand and they apparate in front of the Malfoy family mansion.

He escorted her to the gate and put the suitcase on the ground. There was silence between them.

After the party where Ominis behaved so eccentrically, things were strange between them.
Ominis acted as if nothing had happened and Elisse didn't feel like blaming him.
But there was a certain distance and coldness between them.
Ominis tried to act normal but had his moments when his jealousy showed. Another time, he took the books from Elissa's hands because he was already irritated by her futile efforts to fix him.

Elisse found herself lost in thought, the memories of the past half year still fresh in her mind. Ominis noticed the distant look on her face and a frown formed on his face. He cleared his throat, trying to make small talk.
"So, are you ready to go home?" he asked, his voice a bit strained.

"Yes, of course. I'll see you at the wedding." She didn't know what else to say and turned to leave.

Ominis hesitated for a moment before stepping closer to her, his gaze fixed on the ground. "Wait," he said quietly.

Elisse stopped on the steps and slowly turned around. "Yes?"

Ominis took a deep breath, his hands clenching slightly at his sides. The words seemed to be stuck in his throat, but he finally managed to speak.
"Elisse, about the night of the party..." he began, his voice hesitant.

Elisse turned her face away to hide the tears that immediately filled her eyes at the mention of that night. "We don't have to talk about it," she said choked.

Ominis felt a pang of guilt at the sight of her tears. He stepped closer to her again, his eyes filled with regret.
"No, we do need to talk about it," he said in a firm but gentle voice. "I can't pretend that night didn't happen. I... I need to apologize for my behavior. It was inexcusable."

Elisse was silent for a moment before answering him. "You don't have to apologize. I know you're not yourself now." she sobbed and continued, "it's my fault, you sacrificed yourself for me." She walked up to him and took his hands in hers, "but I won't give up, the solution is already within reach.."

Ominis felt a mixture of emotions upon hearing her words. On the one hand, guilt weighed heavily on him for treating her so badly, but on the other, a flicker of hope and gratitude filled his heart.

He wrapped his hands around hers and pulled her closer, his voice gentle and sincere. "You're not blame for this, love. None of this is your fault. I just..." he trailed off, struggling to find the right words.

Elisse took his head and pulled him close, leaning her forehead against his, "I know," she whispered. "It will be good, I promise. We just need to go to France to see my mentor so that she can give me instructions on how to get rid of it and you will be free." She ran her hand through his hair and whispered, "I love you, Ominis."

Ominis closed his eyes as her fingers combed through his hair, his heart swelling with love and gratitude. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a tight embrace.

"I love you too," he murmured hoarsely.

Elisse kissed him, then pulled away and said, "I'll meet you at the altar." she smiled at him one last time and walked inside the mansion.
