** Two years later**

The final year at Hogwarts was filled with a mix of emotions for Ominis and Elisse. On one hand, they were excited about the future and the life they would start together. But on the other, there was a tinge of sadness as they would soon have to say goodbye to the castle that has been their home for so many years.

Ominis, now a prefect, diligently fulfilled his duties, but his mind was always drawn to Elisse, his heart fluttering every time she was near. Both were not very physical types. Their relationship was based on a deep emotional connection. There was speculation at school whether they were dating or not, because no one had ever caught them even in a deeper kiss. But everyone knew that they spend every possible moment together and are very close. While the couples around them were dating and breaking up and dealing with relationship drama, theirs was solid.

Elisse, Sebastian, and Anne were already sitting at the Slytherin table at the initiation feast, having a lively discussion about their summer vacation. Ominis arrived later due to prefect duties, sat down next to Elisse. "I missed you" Elisse whispered to Ominis as she leaned her head against his shoulder.

Ominis smiled warmly at her words, his heart fluttering at the contact of her head on his shoulder. "I missed you, too," he whispered back, wrapping his arm around her waist and giving her a gentle squeeze.

From the other side of the table Sebastian and Anne couldn't help but notice the tenderness in their interaction and shared a knowing look.

"I don't understand that you are still together as a couple. You act like brother and sister. I don't see any passion between you two." Sebastian spoke tactlessly.

Ominis and Elisse exchanged a look, both of them slightly taken aback by Sebastian's bluntness. Elisse replied with a slightly defensive tone, "Just because we're not always all over each other in public doesn't mean there's no passion. Our relationship is based on trust and respect, not just physical intimacy."

"Sebastian, since when are you an expert on relationships? Your one-offs are hardly passionate relationships. It's more like animalistic instincts," laughed Anne. "But you two are really too sweet for my taste. No drama, that's boring. I need make-up sex in a relationship," added Anne dreamily.

Ominis and Elisse chuckled lightly at Anne's remark, while Sebastian rolled his eyes in response.

Sebastian shot back, "I prefer to keep things simple, without the unnecessary drama and emotional baggage."

"And we prefer to keep our intimate relations private," Ominis added dryly, his hand tightening slightly on Elisse's waist.

Anne smiled and continued the conversation, "Elisse, you mentioned that you and Ominis spent most of the summer together. How was that?"

Elisse smiled at Ominis and said: "Ominis used to come to our house. He brought my mother a bouquet and my father a bottle of whiskey. Sometimes he even slept at our place. It was nice."

Sebastian raised an eyebrow at the information. "Sleepovers at the family home, huh? That sounds cozy. So your parents like Ominis, I assume they approve of your relationship?"

"Yes, I think so. Once in the evening, when we sat longer over a glass of whiskey, father admitted that when our families met in the past, they hoped that I would form a bond with the Gaunt boys from childhood." Elisse replied.

Sebastian whistled low, "Looks like your families were secretly planning this all along. A childhood bond, huh?" He turned to Ominis, a knowing smirk on his face, "Seems like you were destined to end up with Elisse from the start, mate."
