( Fleurie - Hurts like hell)
Elisse was quiet at lunch. She kept thinking about the conversation with Ominis. Finally she leaned over to Ominis and said to him: "You should go to Anna and talk to her. I'll be in the library if you want to tell me how it went."
Ominis nodded in acknowledgement, appreciating her understanding.
"Alright. I'll take your advice and talk to Anne after class. If everything goes well, I'll come find you."
He smiled faintly, his expression a mix of anticipation and concern about the upcoming conversation with Anne.
Elisse then headed to the library. She sat down at an empty desk and pulled out her homework. She was concentrating on her work when she was suddenly interrupted by an acquaintance
voice: "So here
you are! I wanted to apologize to you for my behavior during the duel," said Sebastian.
Elisse looked up at him and raised her eyebrows: "Shouldn't you be apologizing to Ominis?" she replied.Sebastian leaned against the desk, his expression sheepish. He ran a hand through his hair, a habit of his when he was feeling uncomfortable.
"Yeah, I suppose I should." He looked at her, his gaze serious. "But it's you I wanted to talk to first. Can we talk?" Sebastian asked.
"Yes, I actually wanted to talk to you," answered Elisse
Sebastian glanced around, checking to see if anyone was within earshot. Seeing that the coast was clear, he sat down at the desk opposite Elisse.
"Good. I figured you'd want to discuss what happened between me and Ominis earlier."
"Exactly. I feel that my arrival has somewhat disturbed the relationship between you, Anne and Ominis. I don't want to be the cause of tension between you. I just don't know how to solve it." Elisse said to Sebastian.
Sebastian listened carefully to her words, his expression thoughtful. He rubbed his chin, a gesture he often made when deep in thought.
"Yeah, I won't lie. You turning up out of nowhere has been a bit of a shock."
He paused, contemplating his next words carefully.
"But Elisse, you have to understand, me and Ominis... We've known each other since we were kids. He's like a brother to me. And Anne... well...."
He trailed off, his eyes flickering with a mix of emotions."Yes I know. I understood that she likes Ominis. Right now Ominis should talk to her about it." she sighed
Sebastian nodded in agreement, a small frown on his face.
"Yeah, you're right. And he's probably doing that right now."
He leaned back in his chair, his eyes fixed on her.
"But what about you? What's your relationship with Ominis? It looks like you are very close".
"He is very important to me. We have a lot in common. And very similar family issues." she answered. "We've always supported each other in difficult times." She grabbed her forearm and walked over the scars. " "I missed him a lot in France. And I'm glad that I can be near him again."
Sebastian noticed the scars on her forearms, the gesture not going unnoticed by him. He felt a pang of sympathy, recognizing the pain that often went hand in hand with difficult family situations.
His expression softened as she spoke of her closeness with Ominis. He could see the depth of her feelings for him, the bond of trust and loyalty that existed between them.
"Ominis is a good guy." He said quietly. "He's been through a lot, and it's not easy for him to let people in."
"Yes, I know. I'm glad that he has you and Anne as friends. And I don't want him to lose you" She said.
