Elisse led Ominis to the top of the unique Eiffel Tower, which was built in Paris a few years ago.
After a grueling ascent, they were treated to an amazing view. Elissa was sorry that Ominis couldn't enjoy him fully, but she tried to paint the picture for him.
Elisse was standing by the railing and Ominis was hugging her from behind. They quietly enjoyed each other's presence for a while, only the wind whistled in their ears.
"I feel a bit like I'm on an astronomical tower," Elisse broke the silence. "It reminded me of the night you proposed to me." she smiled and looked at the ring on her hand.

Ominis chuckled, the memory of that night flooding his mind. The sound of the wind and the view around them transported him back to that moment.

"That was one of the happiest and most nervous nights of my life," he said, resting his chin on her shoulder, his arms wrapped around her waist. He gently took hold of her left hand, his thumb tracing over the ring.

"I remember how I kept practicing the words in my head, but when you were standing in front of me, I couldn't remember a single one of them."

Elisse smiled, turned to him and kissed him. After while she took a deep breath and began to speak:
"Love... we've been in Paris for a week now. I don't want to spoil our honeymoon, but you know what I have planned." she looked on the ground and continued: "Every time I suggest that we go to my mentor, you refuse and I don't want to put it off any longer."

Ominis's expression hardened as he knew exactly what she was talking about. He had hoped that they could just enjoy their time in Paris, away from everything, without talking about it.

"Elisse..." he began, his voice hesitant. "You know how I feel about that."

"You're wrong, I don't know how you feel. she replied touched. "I thought you wanted to get rid of the mark, that's why I don't understand your behavior." she said in frustration.

Ominis took a step back, feeling overwhelmed and frustrated by her words. He raked a hand through his hair and sighed deeply. He knew that he couldn't hide his true feelings from her, not anymore.

"Of course I want the damn mark gone," he said, his voice tense. "But... the thought of putting you in danger again... it scares me."

She looked at him lovingly and hugged him. "Love, please. Let's at least visit her, just to talk about it. If she says it's risky, we'll keep our hands off it. I promise." she rested her head on his chest and sighed. "Understand me. I put a lot of effort into finding the answer. I can't stop when the answer is within reach.

Ominis sighed, knowing that he couldn't say no to her. He wrapped his arms tighter around her and pulled her closer to him.

"Alright," he relented. "We'll go talk to your mentor, but only to talk. And if she says it's too risky, we stop right there. You have to promise me that."

Elisse nodded and took Ominis hands and asked, "Are you ready?"

Ominis let out a deep breath, a mix of nerves and resignation in his voice. "As ready as I'll ever be," he replied. Elisse led him forward, holding his hand tightly.

Elisse led them a little further away from muggle sight and disapparate them from the Eiffel Tower.
They found themselves in front of a cozy looking house in the countryside.

Ominis stumbled a little as they arrived, trying to find his bearings. He felt the cool evening air on his face, and the scent of wildflowers filled his nose.

"Is this... your mentor's house?" he asked, taking in the surroundings. The house looked warm and inviting, but he couldn't help the pang of unease in his stomach.
