We continued eating habang nag-uusap ang mga magulang namin. Of course, they are talking about business, and our marriage. Lucius and I were engage from a long time ago, and was about to get married kung hindi lang ako nawala. I guess they are eager to continue the wedding since I'm here now and fine.

While they are busy chatting ay busy rin kami ni Lien na kumain. The next courses of meals arrived, kasama na ang extra na inorder ni Lien. What he ordered are steak and desert for me. Nang makita ko ang inihain sa akin ay naintindihan ko kung bakit siya nagdagdag ng order. It's because the dishes that mrs. Grimaldi ordered for me are just appetizer, soup and salad. I'm not blaming her since from what I heard from why family, I used to eat so little.

"Let me cut that for you." Sabi ni Lien bago kinuha ang plato kung nasaan ang aking steak. He cut it into pieces bago inilipat malapit sa akin.

After finishing the soup ay kaagad kong nilantakan ang salad. I immediately finished it kaya sinunod ko naman ang steak. Habang kumakain ay napatingin ako kay Lucius. He is cutting his meat so swiftly then eating it so gracefully. Halatang sanay sa fine dining. He was talking to his dad about something that I didn't bother to listen while finishing his food.

After fishing the gelato ay napatingin ako kay Lien. He is still eating his nang napatingin siya sa akin.

"What, you're still hungry?" Natatawang bulong niya. I pouted dahil pinagtatawanan niya ako.

"Sorry, but I already finished mine. Si Lucius, hindi pa kinakain 'yung sa kanya. Gusto mong tanungin ko?"

I hit his arm because I think it's discourteous, pero bago pa ako makapagsalita ay bumaling na siya sa lalaki. "Hey, Lucius. Kakainin mo ba 'yung ice cream mo?"

Napatingin si Lucius kay Lien. "Why?" Takang tanong nito.

Tumingin si Lien sa akin kaya nalipat sa akin ang tingin ni Lucius. Lien was gicing me an encouraging look. Seriously, I want to hit him. But since he already brought Lucius' attention to me, migth as well ask it.

"Tesoro, can I have you gelato?"

Takang tumingin sa akin si Lucius. Well, mas mukhang shock siya. "What did you say?"

"Can you give me your ice cream if you're not eating it?"

"No. Before that. What did you just call me?"

Ako naman ngayon ang takang tumingin sa kanya. "Tesoro? Why, is there a problem? Suocera said I should call you like that."

He still look at me in shock kaya napatingin ako kay Lien para magtanogng, but even him looked surprise too. I noticed that our table is quiet kaya nilingon ko ang mga ito. Our parents are looking at me with surprise too.

"Oh my~" It was mrs. Grimaldi that reacted first. Malaki ang ngiti niya habang nakatingin sa akin, even her hand can't hide the smile on her eyes.

Tumawa si daddy. "I guess we don't have to worry about their relationship. It will flourish on its own." Natutuwang sabi nito. His laugh was followed by the other adults'.

"Solana, do you know what tesoro means?" Tanong ni Lien sa akin.

I was puzzled by his question. "Isn't it darling?"

"And you call him that?"

"Uh, yeah?"

"And you're fine calling him that?"

"Aren't we getting married? Should I call him sposo or marito instead?"

Our parents' laughs get louder. Si Lien naman ay hindi makapaniwalang tumingin sa akin. I don't know, he looks at me in disbelief and something else. Regret?
