Since Lucius taught, well, assisted, me driving ay araw-araw na akong nagdadrive sa subdivision namin gamit ang isa sa mga sasakyan niya. I've been doing that a few hours a day within a week. I frequently roamed the neighborhood to the point na nasaway ako ng guard dahil may ilang nagreport sa akin sa home owner's association dahil sa pagala-galang sasakyan. They thought I was spying. After confirming my identity ay saka lang nila ako hinayaang umalis.

"You're fine, bee?" Tanong sa akin ni Lucius nang tawagan niya ako. He was contacted to confirm my identity.

I huffed when I heard his chuckles. "You find this amusing?"

"Very." At muli na namang siyang tumawa. I pouted.

"I can't practice my driving now. They warned me not to practice here since the neighbors either feel alerted or finds the car's sound annoying." Reklamo ko sa kanya.

"Hmm...how about driving in actual road? You already did it with me."

"You mean, outside?"

"Yes. Nothing beats the actual thing."

"But...I'm scared. Maraming sasakyan at mga tao sa dumadaan."

"You won't drive on super busy roads yet. Doon lang muna sa kaunti ang dumadaan."

Saglit akong nag-isip. "Then, I'll do it kung sasamahan mo ako."

"Of course. Let's do it after I came back."

At pag-uwi niya ay umalis nga kami. He just washed himself and changed his clothes bago kami umalis sakay ng kanyang Vios, the one I've been using to drive this whole time. We went around the nearby roads. Medyo maliwanag naman dahil sa streetlights but then, Lucius decided that I'm skilled enough to go further.

"We won't hit anything, right?" Kinakabahang tanong ko sa kanya.

Lucius' hand on my thigh feel warm. Nakadantay ang kamay niya sa hita ko para pakalmahin ako, and it's helping a lot because it constantly reminds me that I'm not alone.

"Of course not. You've improve a lot. You just need confidence with your driving and you're good to go." Sabi niya.

I continued driving. Gusto niya sanang sa main road na ako magdrive, but there's a traffic kaya hindi na niya ako pinapunta doon.

My phone suddenly rang. "Tesoro, can you answer my phone, please?"

"Of course. Wait a second."

Kinuha niya ang aking bag na nakalagay sa backseat at saka binuksan. He took my phone and read the lit up screen.

"Hello, Lien. This is Lucius. Solana's driving so I answered the phone for her."

Gusto kong sumulyap sa kanya but I feared na baka may masagasaan ako kapag inalis ko ang tingin sa kalsada kahit isang segundo dahil medyo marami ang mga taong naglalakad sa sidewalk. Nakinig na lang ako sa usapan nila. Lucius turned the speaker on kaya nadidinig ko rin ang boses ni Lien.

"I plan to visit you Solana. You guys say in your penthouse or house?"

"We're in our house this week because Solana was practicing her driving skills."

"Really? Well, good for her. She used to suck at driving. Hindi ko nga alam kung paano siya nagkalisensya."

"I can hear you!" Nakasimangot na sabi ko.

"And I'm not hiding it." Sabi niya. His chuckles gave it away. He's teasing me. Kahit si Lucius ay natatawa rin sa usapan namin.

"Don't dare to step in our house."
