After ending the call ay dinig ko ang tili ng mga kasama ko.

"So Grimaldi will fetch you?" Excited na tanong ni Bliss.

I nodded my head. "Yeah. Sorry for disturbance."

Tumawa si Helen saka ako kinikilig na ppinalo sa braso. Aww, her hand is heavy. "Ano ka ba, it's fine! And si Grimaldi 'yan no! Naku, talagang susunduin ka pa."

"Oo nga, bantay sarado." Humahagikhik na sabi ni Bliss.

"He's really overprotective like Lien. He's worried dahil wala akong maalala and might get lost or something."

"Baka nag-aalala na maagaw ka kamo. You ran away before your wedding before. Ayaw mapahiya ulit." Sabi ni Pandora.

Kaagad naman itong pinalo ni Helen. "Ikaw talaga. Naku!"

Pandora rolled her eyes. "What? It's not a secret among us na napilitan lang si Solana noon na pakasalan si Grimaldi dahil sa parents niya. Everyone is trying to hush it but we know the truth."

That's the first time I heard about that. Even Lien, Lucius, and my parents told me that they really don't know why I ran away. So my friends know the truth? Did I confine to them before I ran away? But even Bliss told me that I did not done that.

And to know the truth, I asked Pandora. "Am I really forced to marry him?"

Natigilan silang tatlo sa tanong ko at nagkatinginan. I looked at them pero nag-iiwas sila ng tingin.

Bumuntong hininga si Pandora. "You never said it, but we are your friends. Although you are in good terms with Grimaldi, we, Bliss, Helen, and I, know that you don't love your fiance. But you're that f*cking good girl that follows her parents like a doll so you didn't refuse."

Sinamaan ng tingin ni Bliss si Pandora. "Watch your words."

Pandora raised her hands. "But it's true!"

Inirapan ni Helen si Pandora bago bumaling sa akin. She took my hand. "We're not really sure if that's the reason. You're really on good terms with your fiance and you have no boyfriend so that's possibly not the reason."

Pandora snorted and rolled her eyes pero hindi na nagkumento. Does Pandora know something else? She seems hostile because of our conversation. Sabi ni Bliss ay mas close ako noon kay Pandora, so I might confide things to her that I didn't tell the other girls. But I can't ask her about that right now dahil pakiramdam ko ay iiwasan niya lang ang tanong.

Mukhang magkakainitan na sila so before that happens ay pumagitna na ako. "It's fine. It doesn't matter if I ran away because I didn't want to marry Lucius or not. I'm marrying him now and the past won't change it."

I don't know if my reason back then was really against marrying, but what I know is Lucius is a good man. I might not love him now, but we got along without a problem. Well, maybe there's a bit of problem whenever we fight with small matters, but it won't cause major problems. Hopefully.

Because of what I said ay natigil sila sa pagtatalo. To change the mood ay tinanong ko sila sa isusuot nilang damit sa kasal. They immediately lighten up and started chatting again na parang walang nangyari. I'm contented with just listening to them while eating my ice cream.

After about half an hour ay tumawag muli sa akin si Lucius. He's already in the mall. I told him where we are so he headed here. Hindi ko pinatay ang tawag para makapag-usap kami at mas madali niya akong makita.

"I can see you now." Sabi niya sa akin.

"Really? Where are you?" Tanong ko habang palingon-lingon.
