PT1 OF A DOUBLE UPDATE!!!

。 ₊°༺❤︎༻°₊ 。

If I was dying on my knees

You would be the one to rescue me

And if you were drowned at sea

I'd give you my lungs so you could breath

I've got you, brother

❤︎ Ethan had this feeling.

It was this persistent thing ringing in his head, like an itch he couldn't reach. He didn't know why he had the feeling or what it was for, but he knew he had to deal with it.

Clarisse had contacted Helena earlier in the week and asked if she would be willing to do an extraction.

Apparently, Kronos's army had captured a few campers and was holding them captive on board the Princess Andromeda. Helena had asked if she could take him with her and Clarisse had shrugged and told her to do as she wished as long as she got the campers out.

Anyway, back to that bad feeling Ethan was experiencing.

He thinks it has something to do with his sister. It tended to intensify when he looked at her. He wasn't afraid to admit to himself that he was scared.

Was he selfish? Maybe

The entire world could fall into ruin and Ethan wouldn't care as long as his siblings were okay. Helena and Nico had both saved him in one way or another and both of them had gone through enough already.

Ethan watched as his sister waved Jackson and Rachel away; apparently the two had planned out a gossip day. Whatever that was. Rachel had apparently started dating this mortal girl she met while on vacation with her family and Helena didn't seem bothered and was cool with it so he didn't think too much about it.

"What does Jackson think we are doing today?" Ethan asked as he watched said person wave bye as the elevator doors closed.

"Going to the gym."

Ethan hums. "Why didn't you tell him?"

"Do you think he would let me go if he knew?" Helena gives him a look. "He would either force himself to come along with us or find a way to lock us in the apartment."

"So you told him we were going to the gym?"

"No. He just... assumed that."

"You do realise this means he would rather be anywhere but the gym with you."

"That's because he can't handle my routine."

Ethan snorts, thinking back to the time he watched Jackson collapse twenty minutes into Helena's workout and that was after he dumped a bottle of water over his head.

Helena budges him with her shoulder. "Come now, Eddy. It's just me and you against the world. Nothing to be afraid of."

"That stalker dude might be there," Ethan said. "What's his name? Lever? Lint?"

"You mean Levente?" Helena deadpans as she walks back into the living room and tosses Ethan a duffle bag. "Levi?"

"That's what I said."
