Chapter 30: The Hunt

I am busy tuning Claudette's guitar under the umbrella. I glanced to the ladies enjoying the water of the sea. I removed my shades and looked for a particular person. She wore a one-piece swimsuit. All her lower extremities are exposed under the heat of the sun.

"You didn't know, Zarra?" Sir Miles sat down in front of us drinking his favorite brand of wine.

"What is that Sir Miles?" As Zarra questioned it, Sir Miles pointed his finger to me. I rolled my eyes, didn't know if Sir Miles can see it because I wore a sunglass.

"Why not ask it directly to the 'owner'." Sir Miles emphasized the word 'owner' while pointing at me.

"You are the owner of the resort?" Zarra was surprised to know that I'm the owner.

She did again the puppy eyes thingy, which I couldn't resist. Damn it. That cute face is my weakness.

I sighed in disbelief as the lab personnel cheered in excitement. I stirred the yacht and tried to give the best tour in the sea they could have.

They were enjoying their drinks I prepared to them while they relaxed.

I stopped the yacht in the middle of the sea where they can see different fishes. I went upstairs and tried to look for Zarra. She's not with the group so I wondered if she's upstairs.

As I reached the deck of the yacht someone pulled my collar.
