Alexandria Jones' Point of View

"Aileen, could you please help me hang this?" My personal maid helped me on the adjustable ladder until I hung our newly marriage portrait on the wall.

I went down and looked if the position is okay.

I smiled as I saw Zarra's face in a bridal gown.

Zarra is exceptionally gorgeous.

The housekeepers already prepared the foods on the dining table.

I went upstairs and about to open Zarra's room. A memory flashed back to my mind.

"You will not marry the Zarra Ashclaire you know." That was Zarra said before stepping in the altar. I actually thought about it for days now.

We actually moved to a house. A family house that's actually wide for the two of us. I could not remember how many bedrooms it has, that's why Zarra chose a separate bedroom for herself.

We got married.

But she didn't want me anymore.

She hates me.

I knocked on her room, and when I tried to open the knob, it's not lock.

I saw her still sleeping. I went near her and sat beside the bed. I was mesmerized at how beautiful she still look even in this moment.

I fixed her hair and traced my finger in her cheek.

"You will not marry the Zarra Ashclaire you know."

I do not know what she meant by it. I know that she doesn't love me. She actually hates me, but I'll make her love me.

I'll make my wife love me.

Zarra opened her eyes, and her eyes became full of hatred as she saw me. She removed my hand away from her face and turned around to ignore me.

"Zarra, let's eat." I tried to hold her side but she moved further away from me.

"Don't touch me." A twinge of pain shattered me as she said those words.

"You didn't eat last night. I'll bring the food to you." I stood up and about to leave her room when she spoke.

"Don't act that everything will be okay, Alex. Leave me and don't come near me." I didn't turn to look at her as she said it. I don't want to look at the hatred in her eyes. So, I decided to go down and bring her food.

"Aileen, did Zarra eat anything yesterday?" I asked Aileen while she's helping me prepare Zarra's food on a tray.

"No Ma'am, she still imprisoned herself in her room." I sighed. It's not actually good. What do I need to do?

I was carrying the tray together with the bed table. I looked at Zarra and she covered her whole body and face with the blanket.

"Zarra, please eat." I pleaded to her. She didn't answer. She's ignoring me until now.

My love, how long you will be like this to me?

"Zarra, please." I pleaded again.

I thought of something that could make her eat.

"I'll grant you anything you want." She eventually removed the blanket and looked at me.

"Divorce me." She said suddenly.

"Except that." I tried to soften my expression but she's just really straightforward.

"Then I'll not eat." She covered herself in the blanket again. Is she acting like a kid or what?
