27th January 2023 - one year and four days old.
'Wawa!' Rory squeals raising her little arms towards the Swiss-midfielder who makes her way into the lounge.
'Hey, baby... I heard you've been keeping your mummy on her toes.' Lia says leaning down to lift the little girl onto her hip.
'Mm... Could say that. Last night was awful, Wally. I honestly just- I was so scared.' Leah says shaking her head as she runs her hand over her face.
'I can't even imagine. What did the doctors say?' Lia asks.
'They said it was a febrile seizure that was caused by her high temperature due to her teething... They said that she should be absolutely fine but it was terrifying Wally. Just seeing her like that. I just- I didn't know what to do.' Leah replies shaking her head.
'Come here...' Lia says softly as she makes her way over to wrap her free arm around the blonde, pulling her into her side.
'I can't even imagine how scary that must have been for you... You should've phoned me and I would've been here.' Lia says softly as she kisses the top of the blonde's head.
'I know I just- You had your night out with the girls and I didn't want to ruin it.' Leah replies quietly.
'You and Rory are more important than a night out, Le.' Lia says as the blonde quietly sniffles.
'Why don't you try get some sleep, Le? You must be absolutely shattered.' Lia suggests and the blonde shakes her head.
'I don't want to leave her.' Leah almost whispers.
'I'm right here, Le. I've got her, she'll be absolutely fine with me.' Lia says and the blonde sighs.
'Okay...' Leah replies quietly.
'I promise I'll come get you if we need you but we will be fine.' Lia says.
'Thanks, Wally.' Leah replies softly.

'How's she been?' Leah asks softly as she makes her way out of the bedroom and through to the living room where Lia is sitting on the floor playing with the toddler.
'She's been fine, haven't you? We had some french toast for lunch with some banana and strawberries on the side.' Lia replies causing the blonde to smile.
'Oh aren't you lucky... Mummy doesn't even know how to make French toast.' Leah says as she lowers herself down onto the floor as the little girl immediately crawls towards the blonde.
'Do you want some? I can make you some if you're hungry.' Lia offers.
'I'm alright, I'll just grab some toast.' Leah replies and Lia smiles.
'I'll make it. You spend some time with your girlie.' Lia says softly. Standing up, she gently squeezes the blonde's shoulder as Rory climbs onto her lap.
'Thanks, Wally.' Leah replies glancing up at her. She cuddles Rory against her chest as she gently rocks from side to side.
'How you doing, my bubby?' Leah says leaning down to kiss the top of the little girl's head.
'Have you been having fun with Auntie Wally while mummy had a nap?' Leah asks.
'Just butter, Le?' Lia shouts from the kitchen causing the blonde to smile.
'Yeah, please.' Leah replies. She runs her hand down Rory's back, smiling as the little girl's eyes begin to grow heavy with sleep. It's only a few minutes later when Lia returns to find the blonde sitting with her back against the sofa as she stares down at a sleeping Rory.
