note: going to be entirely honestly and say I can't remember the details of the Feyenoord game so I have kind of brushed over it as much as I could and also made up timings and stuff as well so apologises in advance for that. I also deleted and re-wrote this chapter three times and still I'm not 100% happy with it but I couldn't face re-writing it again.

7th January 2024 – one year and forty-nine weeks old.

Taking a deep breath, she groans as she rolls onto her back and lets out a small groan as the subtle pain in her lower stomach begins to radiate towards her back. Sighing quietly, she slowly pushes herself up to rest on her elbows and pushes the covers away from the body, taking a glance down at the sheets to ensure she hasn't leaked yet. She glances over at Imogen who appears to still be fast asleep curled up on her side while Rory sleeps peacefully in her travel cot by the side of the bed. Running her hand over her stomach, she slowly swings her legs out the bed before beginning to make her way towards the bathroom unaware that the slight shift in the mattress and the sound of her padding across the floor has woken the brunette who lifts her head to glance over at her.

'Le, what's going on? You okay?' Imogen asks sleepily, noticing the way the blonde clutches her stomach as she glances over her shoulder in the direction of the bed.

'Mm... I think I've came on. I just need to change and find my tablets.' Leah replies quietly as she reaches the bathroom door.

'Do the sheets need changed? Should I contact reception?' Imogen asks softly pushing herself up on her elbows.

'No, I don't think so.' Leah replies leaning heavily on the doorframe of the bathroom.

'Right, you go do what you need to do and I'll find your tablets in your case. Have you taken your toiletries bag into the bathroom or is that still in the case?' Imogen asks.

'That's in the bathroom... My tablets should be in the little pink bag, you know the one I keep all my endo stuff in? Heat pads and that?' Leah says and Imogen nods her head.

'Okay... I'll bring that in for you.' Imogen replies.

'Thanks, babes.' Leah says softly.

It's around twenty minutes later when she finally climbs back into her side of the bed, the moonlight illuminating the room slightly through a gap in the curtains as Imogen settles back in her own side of the bed.

'How are you feeling? Think you'll be able to get some sleep?' Imogen asks softly as she gently pulls the blonde into her arms until she's able to run her fingers through the blonde hair which is splayed across her chest.

'Mm... I'm hoping because I managed to get the tablets taken before it got too bad they should kick in and really help.' Leah replies feeling Imogen's lips brush against the top of her head.

'If you need anything and I'm asleep just wake me up, okay?' Imogen says and Leah smiles slightly.

'I'm sorry you have to deal with this on almost a monthly basis...' Leah almost whispers.

'You've got nothing to apologise for, Le. I love you and you look after the people you love, don't you? What is it they say? In sickness and health.' Imogen says.

'Mm... I love you too.' Leah replies.

'Try get some sleep, Le. We'll see how you're doing in the morning, okay?' Imogen says softly and Leah nods her head. She glances over at her phone on the bedside table while reads 3:23am and lets out a small sigh before cuddling back into Imogen's side. She lies in silence, the brunette's breathing evening out as she falls asleep again leaving the blonde alone with nothing but her thoughts and the radiating pain in her stomach. She hates coming on her period when she's staying at a hotel because there is always that fear that she's going to leak through onto the sheets despite the fact she knows it's nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about.
