Chapter - 72

Xiao Zhan was lying on the hospital bed and Wang Yibo was sitting on the chair beside Zhan's bed while staring at Zhan without blinking. Yibo had treated his wounds and there was nothing to worry about him. Zhan's operation went well but he was still unconscious. Since Zhan injured his head, the doctor said that Zhan would wake up after a few days of rest.

Wang Yubi was sitting on the couch was silently observing Yibo. She would stay at the hospital to take care of Yibo as well as Zhan.

"Yibo." Yubi called and Yibo hummed as he turned to his mother. Yubi held Yibo's hand and Yibo stared at her.

"I think you fall in love with Xiao Zhan." Yubi said softly while observing Yibo's reaction.

Hearing Yubi's words, Yibo's eyes widen. In a moment, his eyes turned gloomy and he looked down.

"I don't know if I love Xiao Zhan or not. I just know that I hate him seeing like this. I feel suffocated. I felt someone was stabbing my heart with a dagger." Yibo said and looked up at Yubi.

"I don't know how to push his feeling away. I just don't want this feeling. I just want Xiao Zhan to wake up soon. I want Xiao Zhan to be fine and healthy again." Yibo said and tears started to roll down from his eyes.

"It's okay. It's okay. Everything will be alright. Xiao Zhan will wake up soon. He will be fine again and then you won't feel suffocating anymore." Yubi said while wiping Yibo's tears and hugged Yibo.

Yibo hugged his mother tightly and started to cry. Yubi felt helpless and started to rub Yibo's back as she comforted her son.

"It's okay. It's okay. Don't cry. If you cry, it will take long for your wounds to heal. Don't cry. Don't cry. Xiao Zhan wouldn't want to see you cry." Yubi said.

"Then tell him to wake up." Yibo said while sobbing.

"He will wake up soon." Yubi said while rubbing Yibo's back but Yibo didn't stop crying.

Yubi kept whispering comforting words untill Yibo cried himself to sleep.

Wang Yang slowly opened the door of the hospital room and went inside. He  looked at Yubi who was hugging Yibo and Yubi looked at him.

"Fall asleep?" Yang asked while glancing at Yibo.

"Yeah. Please lie him on the bed. It's not comfortable here." Yubi said in a low voice and Yang nodded his head.

Yang gently lifted Yibo on his arms and lied him down on another hospital bed which was beside Zhan's bed. Yang covered Yibo with a blanket and went back to Yubi.

"Has Mr. Xiao and Mrs. Xiao already left?" Yubi asked as Yang sat beside her.

"Yeah, I left them at the parking lot." Yang said and Yubi nodded his head.

Xiao Wei and Xiao Ruyi wanted to stayed at the hospital with Zhan. Yibo also wanted to stay beside Zhan. Yang and Yubi knew that Yibo would be uncomfortable with his in-laws. So, they pursued Wei and Ruyi to leave and stayed at the hospital to take care of Yibo as well as Zhan.

"Yang, I have never saw Yibo so emotional. Not after that incident." Yubi said.

"Our son has fallen in love even if he didn't admit it, it's true." Yang said as he wrapped his hands around Yubi's shoulder.

"What do you think? Will Xiao Zhan accept our Yibo when he will know everything about Yibo's past?" Yubi asked.

"I think Xiao Zhan already know everything and accepted Yibo wholeheartedly." Yang said.
