Chapter - 44

Xiao Zhan returned home and went to the bedroom. He saw Wang Yibo was standing on the balcony and smiled. He approached Yibo and hugged Yibo from behind.

Yibo was stiffed from the sudden hug but relaxed when he realized the familiar touch.

Zhan noticed Yibo's stiffness. It's not the first time that Yibo reacted like that from his touch. Whenever he would hug Yibo from behind Yibo would be stiffted before relaxing himself which made Zhan felt that Yibo was uncomfortable with his touch.

"You are back." Yibo said and kept his hands on Zhan's hands which were around his waist.

"Mn." Zhan said and turned Yibo around to face him.

"Yibo, tell me honestly. Are you uncomfortable with my touch?" Zhan asked and Yibo chuckled.

"What are you saying? If I am uncomfortable with your touch then I wouldn't sleep with you." Yibo said and smiled.

"But you become stiff whenever I hug you from behind." Zhan said while frowning and Yibo's smile faded.

"That's because I .... I... I was startled. I got startled whenever someone touched me from behind. But I relaxe as soon as I know it's you, right? So, don't think about this anymore." Yibo said.

"In this house, only I and you live. So, it was normal that only I will touch you." Zhan said.

"We have workers, Zhan." Yibo said.

"The workers never come whenever we are at home, Yibo." Zhan said.

"I.. I just remain absent-minded. That's why I didn't notice you. How about this? You make sound whenever you come then I won't be stiff." Yibo said.

"It means you are really uncom...mmmppp." Zhan couldn't finish his sentence as Yibo captured his lips and started to kiss Yibo.

This time, Zhan didn't return the kiss which made Yibo uncomfortable and he broke the kiss.

"Don't think about this nonsense. I am not uncomfortable with your touch and never will be." Yibo said while cupping Zhan's face.

"You just return. Go and freshen up. I will heat the food for us." Yibo said and reluctantly nodded his head.

Yibo helped Zhan removed his tie and coat. Then he watched Zhan went inside the bathroom and sighed.

Yibo was not really uncomfortable with Zhan's touch. It was that after that incident he became uncomfortable with people touch. Over time, he improved with people's touch. But he still got startled if someone touched him from behind. That's why, his close ones never touched him behind. But Zhan didn't know about it and Yibo didn't want to tell Zhan anything. He wished Zhan would never got to know about his past.

That night, Yibo and Zhan had dinner peacefully and went to bed early. Yibo willingly got into Zhan's arm and hugged him tightly.

Zhan understood that Yibo wanted him to feel at ease. He sighed and decided to let go of this matter. So, he hugged Yibo back and kissed Yibo's forehead.

"Good night." Zhan said and Yibo felt relive.

"Good night." Yibo said and kissed Zhan's jaw.

Then Yibo snuggled on Zhan's chest before falling asleep. But Zhan couldn't sleep. He just lie on the bed while staring at the ceiling.

It was middle of the night when Yibo woke up. He was a heavy sleeper but tonight he couldn't fell asleep as he was worried that Zhan might misunderstand him.
