Chapter - 62

The next day

Xiao Zhan was sitting in the living room of his old penthouse while waiting for Chen Yu regarding a matter of Wang Yibo. He wanted to meet in a cafe or restaurant but Chen Yu insisted to meet here.

There was a knocked on the door and Zhan went to opened the door. He opened the door and let Chen Yu came in.

"Sorry, there was traffic jam and I got stuck." Chen Yu said as he entered inside the house with a office bag on his hand.

"It's okay." Zhan said and led Chen Yu to the living room.

Both Zhan and Chen Yu sat beside each other but there was distance between them. Zhan poured Chen Yu a glass of water and Chen Yu accepted it. Chen Yu drank the water and returned the glass of Zhan. Zhan kept the glass aside and turned to Chen Yu.

"Let's get down to business." Zhan said and Chen Yu nodded his head.

Chen Yu took out a file from his bag and kept the file in front of Zhan. Zhan took the file and stared at Chen Yu.

"What is this?" Zhan asked curiously.

"It's the case file of the incident which happened in Shanghai Elite Private School And College over a decree ago." Chen Yu said and Zhan nodded his head.

Zhan opened the file and first saw a picture of a child. He narrowed his eyes and observed the picture as it felt somehow familiar but couldn't guess the person of the picture. Then he started to read the file.

"Name: Wang Yibo, Age: 12, victim of moles...." Zhan stopped reading and stared at Chen Yu with wide open eyes.

"Victim of molestation by five teenagers." Chen Yu finished Zhan's words and Zhan's hands began to shake.

"It can't be true, right?" Zhan asked and Chen Yu sighed.

"Unfortunately it's true." Chen Yu said and Zhan felt his soul left his body.

"After you told me to see if there is any case file related to Shanghai Elite Private School And College over a decade ago. I looked into it and found this file. I was also shocked. But maybe I am police officer and used to deal with this kind of things, I could composed myself easily. I read the file and found that it was made by my current superior, Officer Jiang. I took him for a drink and talked about it. I praised him and showed great interest in the cases he handled. Then I casually mentioned this case. At first, he refused to say anything but I continuously insisted him. In the end, he agreed to open his mouth and told
everything he knew about this case." Chen Yu said.

"Can you tell me everything in details?" Zhan asked as he kept the file on the tea table in front of him.

"Are you sure you want to listen everything?" Chen Yu asked Zhan stared at the file.

"I am more than sure." Zhan said and Chen Yu nodded his head.

"It is said that Liu Ming, Feng Lin Zhang Qing, Cao Hui and Lei Jin used to bully Wang Yibo. They used to touch Yibo badly making Yibo uncomfortable. Yibo complained to the teacher who brushed the matter saying that he wasn't a girl so he shouldn't make something big out of it. Since the teacher didn't take any action, the bullies became bold and started to harasse Yibo even more. Yibo complained to his mother who simply said Yibo to stay away from him. More than a month after being bullied, Minister Wang Yang noticed Yibo's wrist had red marks and inquiry about it. That's when he got to know that his son was getting bullied. That day he decided to visit the school and told his daughter Wang Yixi to take care of Yibo. Unfortunately, Minister Wang was a little late." Chen Yu said and paused to observe Zhan's expression.

"Go on." Zhan said without any expression on his face.

"It was the break time when a student told Wang Yibo that his sister was getting bullied in the swimming area. Yibo rushed there but couldn't find his sister. That's when he saw the bullies and knew that he fell into a trap. Yibo tried to flew from there but the bullies who were much older and stronger than him stopped him. They..." Chen Yu stopped talking as he couldn't find the right word to describe the situation while Zhan waited for him to continue.
