Chapter - 73

Xiao Zhan heard Wang Yibo speaking to him. He tried to open his eyes but couldn't open them. He frowned and kept trying to open his eyes. Then he gave up and carefully heard Yibo's words.

Yibo was sitting on a chair beside Zhan while talking to him about all the things he could think off. Then he was tried and sighed.

"Xiao Zhan, it's the fifth day and you are not still waking up. I am getting tried of waiting for you. I am giving you two more days. If you don't wake up then you will see what I will do." Yibo said.

"What will you do?" Zhan asked in a hoarse voice as he finally able to open his eyes.

Hearing Zhan's words, Yibo's eyes widen in surprised. He stared at Zhan with wide open eyes.

"You are finally awake." Yibo said and his eyes became teary.

"Don't cry." Zhan said and caressed Yibo's cheek.

"I am calling the doctor." Yibo said and pressed the calling bell.

Soon the doctor came and checked Zhan. Everything was fine but the doctor decided to keep Zhan a few days for observation.

Yibo informed everyone about Zhan waking up and everyone felt relief. Xiao Wei and Xiao Ruyi as well as Wang Yang and Wang Yubi wanted to come but Yibo told them to come later as they were already very tired as they took turn to stay in the hospital with Zhan and Yibo.

Zhan was sitting on the bed while watching Yibo making calls after calls. He became annoyed but didn't say anything.

"Are you done?" Zhan asked as he watched Yibo hang up the call.

"Yeah, I am done. Do you need anything?" Yibo said as he turned to Zhan.

"Come here." Zhan said and Yibo went to Zhan.

"What is it?" Yibo asked while raising his eyebrow.

"Sit here." Zhan said and Yibo sat on the bed.

"Let me see you properly." Zhan said and checked Yibo.

"Hum, you cut your forehead and scratched your arms. Luckily nothing serious happened." Zhan said and sighed in relief.

"But you were injured. You protected me with your body and was heavily injured." Yibo said and lowered his eyes.

"What did I do? I just hugged you. Weren't we hugging from the beginning?" Zhan asked and Yibo stared at him.

"You know what I mean." Yibo said while glaring at Zhan.

"I don't reget it, Yibo. If something like this happens again then I will protect you again." Zhan said honestly and Yibo's lips trembles.

"But I don't want you to endanger yourself to protect me." Yibo said and tears started to roll down from his eyes.

"Then I will make sure nothing like this will happen again." Zhan said and Yibo nodded his head.

"Now, stop cry. Don't cry." Zhan said while wiping Yibo's tears.

"Why did my cool husband become a crybaby?" Zhan asked while raising his eyebrow and Yibo glared at him.

"I am not a crybaby." Yibo said as he rubbed his face with his sleeve and stopped crying.

"Does it hurt?" Zhan asked while touching the bandage on Yibo's forehead and Yibo shook his head.

"It doesn't hurt anymore." Yibo said and Zhan sighed in relief.

"It's good then." Zhan said while nodding his head.
