Chapter - 51

Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo came to Zhan's mansion. The celebration of their first marriage anniversary would be held there that's why they came in advance.

"Wow, this mansion is so beautifully decorated." Yibo said while looking around the mansion. It was his first time in the mansion.

"Yeah. Come and sit." Zhan said with a smile as he sat on a couch.

"Did you decorate it or hire a professional?" Yibo asked as he sat beside Zhan.

"I decorated it." Zhan said.

"Mr. Xiao has this talent too, huh." Yibo said and nuggled Zhan's shoulder.

"Well, Mr. Wang is not the only one who is multi talented." Zhan said and Yibo snickered.

It was near midnight. Yibo was playing games in his phone while Zhan was working in the study.

Zhan checked the time and got up from his seat. He left the study and went to the kitchen. He took out a cake from the refrigerator and went upstairs to his bedroom.

Zhan opened the bedroom door and raised his eyebrow at Yibo who was standing in front of the bed with his hands behind his back.

Yibo was taking out something from the nightstand. He was startled when suddenly Zhan came and stood straight with his hands behind his back as he was hiding the thing behind his back. Then Yibo was surprised when he saw the cake on Zhan's hand and blinked his eyes.

Zhan noticed Yibo's reaction and felt embarrassed. He looked away from Yibo and cleared his throat before turning to Yibo again.

"Happy anniversary." Zhan and Yibo said in unison and laughed together.

Zhan approached Yibo and put the cake on a tea table. Then he light a candle and turned to Yibo who had already put the think in his pants pocket.

"I was busy so I could do just this. Hope you like it." Zhan said nervously.

"I didn't expect that you would wish me with a cake at exactly 12 a.m." Yibo said.

"I wanted to surprise you that's why I didn't tell you in advance." Zhan said while scratching his nape.

"Well, I like it." Yibo said and Zhan sighed in relief.

"I am glad that you like it." Zhan said and smiled.

"Let's cut the cake." Yibo said.

"Wait let me take some photos." Zhan said.

"That's right. We have to take photos." Yibo said. Then both of him and Zhan took pictures of the cake.

"Let's not wait and cut the cake." Yibo said and Zhan hummed.

Zhan and Yibo blew put the candle and then they cut the cake. Then they fed each other.

"I have something for you." Yibo said.

"What is it?" Zhan asked while raising his eyebrow.

Yibo didn't say anything. He took out a rectangular box from his pocket and gave it to Zhan.

"It's an anniversary gift for you. Hope you will like it." Yibo said.

"Thank you." Zhan said and took the box from Yibo.

"Open it." Yibo said and Zhan nodded his head.

Zhan opened the box and found a beautiful platinum chain inside it. He raised his eyebrow and Yibo became nervous.

"Zhan." Yibo called nervously and Zhan looked up.

"I like it. Thank you." Zhan said with a smile.

"Liar. You definitely don't like it." Yibo said and pouted.
