Katy did not return to the hospital the next day, or the next, or the next day. It had been three days since Katy walked out of the hospital room after Alison did not give her the reaction that she wanted. To be honest, Katy did not really know how to deal with the whole situation with Alison as she has never dealt with a child who is disturbed and broken. A big part of her is terrified that Alison's negative energy will affect Jessie and the other always thought how terrible it would be if it was Jessie who had to go through all the pain.

Alison did not say a single word to anyone after Katy left without saying goodbye or saying that she'll be back the next day. She started to regret pretending not to care about her, but she did not have much of a choice because she was afraid that her father will hurt her. 'Great there goes another person who tried to care about me but I've pushed her away...' Alison thought as Katy walked out of her room without even looking back at her. 'You've disappointed her like you have to everyone.' Her father's voice hollered in her head.

'What have I done, what have I done?' She murmured after the social worker sighed at her and left. Alison waited anxiously for the next few days for Katy to return, but she never did. She started to feel hopeless again, thinking that she has lost someone again. 'Alison  I don't think that you know what you've done... If you had been more polite, you could be at her house right now. She might not come back ever again.' The social worker sighed. 'You have just been cleared, which means that you'll be joining the system until she comes back to being you home. Pack up your things then I'll be taking you away.' The social worker said.

'Oh no...' Alison thought as she got out of the bed and followed the social worker. 'Have you packed?' She asked Alison nicely. 'I have nothing to pack...' Alison whispered back. Alison waited for her to say something, but she didn't, no one cared about her...

Upon her arrival to the orphanage, Alison felt as if she caught a glimpse of hope when she saw a few girls around her age sitting on the porch playing and they had smiles on their faces. 'Listen Alison honey, you'll be staying here for the time being, but I will try to help you contact Miss Katy and see if she will like to come here again.' Alison heard her social worker say. 'Really?' She asked. 'Of course, I truly hope that you will be able to live with her as she is a very nice person. If you shall ever get the chance to meet her daughter Jessica, you will understand what I mean. I will see you soon then Alison. Good luck.' She said as Alison got off the car. 'Thank you for everything...' Alison whispered, afterall she doesn't hate me too much I guess... She thought as her social worker drove off.

'Nice to meet you Alison, I am Mrs Botter and I am the owner of this orphanage. Follow me and I will bring you to the room where all the girls stay.' Mrs Botter said, taking Alison's plastic bag from her tiny hand and led her into a big room with around thirty bunk beds. 'Girls, this is Alison, she will be staying here with us. Come and greet her!' Mrs Botter yelled as all girls immediately stopped what they were doing and paid attention. 'Now these are the older girls. Gilly and Alice are the oldest and they are like older sisters to everyone here.' She added as she directed Alison to the bed where the older girl was standing. 'Nice to meet you Alison, I am Gilly and I hope that you feel at home here.' She smiled. All the other girls chanted almost instantly, 'Welcome Alison!'

Mrs Botter left the room and everyone just went back to what they were doing previously as if Alison does not exist. It was then Alison realised that Gilly and Alice were not the older sisters, but they were the bullies as they are the biggest and the meanest. 'Well look at this fresh meat! What have you got there?' They hollered in her face. Alison lowered her head and stayed silent. It did not take very long for the older girls to lose their patience. 'This should teach you to obey us!' The shrieked before throwing things at Alison. Those things were not any ordinary things, they were bugs, cockroaches.

Alison screamed in horror as she tried to run away, but she had no where to go as bullies were everywhere. Girls her age seemed to be able to ignore her completely in order to save themselves from the same fate. The rest of the night was terrible. Alison couldn't sleep much as the older girls just wouldn't leave her alone. When will my life change for the better? She thought as tear kept rolling down her cheeks. Katy please come back for me... I am so sorry... Alison begged as she drifted off to sleep.

----------------------------------------------

'Katy you have to be kidding me! You cannot be going to Legoland with Jessie today! It's been three days since you've been with Alison! You have to go check on her! You know that if you don't go get her today she has to go to the orphanage as she is signed off by the hospital! You can't put her through more pain!'

'I don't know what to do mom! She's not easy like Jessie! She is so troubled! She doesn't want me to be there with her! Why should I be there if she doesn't want me there? Jessie actually wants me!'

'Alison wants you! She's just afraid after all that she has been through. You have to show her that she can trust you and that you'll be there for her when she needs you!'

'I'll go tomorrow okay? I promised Jessie that I will go to Legoland with her and Tamra today and you know that I never break promises to my baby girl!'

'I know but you can't break a promise to Alison either!'

'Well if I have to choose between the two, you should know very well which child I will choose!' Katy spat harshly.

'TO BE HONEST WITH YOU JESSIE IS NOT EVEN YOURS! YOU ARE NOT EVEN RELATED TO HER! WHY DON'T YOU GO CHECK ON YOUR REAL DAUGHTER?'

'MOM WHAT THE HELL? HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT? JESSIE IS MINE! SHE IS MY BABY! YOU HAVE A POINT BUT THAT WAS WAY OUT OF THE LINE! HOW CAN YOU SAY SOMETHING LIKE THIS? MOM YOU ARE DISGUSTING!' Katy screamed.

'Katy honey I'm sorry...'

'I DON'T CARE ANYMORE MOM! Jessie honey? Come on let's go, I think our car is here now. Tamra let's go! YES NOW!' Katy yelled and then she was out the door.
