Katy went home after hours watching Jessie at the hospital and called the number that she was given by the doctors the second she sat down on her couch. This was it. This is the number to the family that had raised Katy's biological daughter. She was very anxious to contact the other family. Katy's worst fear was that Jessie would be taken away from her and she would have no one left.

'Hello? Sorry is this Mr Moore?'

'Yes and may I ask who this is?'

'This is Katy Hudson. I believe the hospital has contacted you?'

'Yes of course Miss Hudson. How are you today Ma'am?'

'Good and you sir?' Katy quirked her eyebrow as she realised how weird it felt to say the word 'sir'. The man is British. Does this mean that Jessie is English?

'Very well. I cannot believe that our children are switched. I find this to be utterly outrageous.'

'I agree with you completely...' Katy said, chewing on her fingers.

'I also understand that it will be very troublesome to switch back as our children are both very young but they will surely have a lot of questions if we switch them back. I will also not have the money needed to support Jessica's heart situation.'

'I understand.' She said, hoping the next thing he says is what she wants to hear.

'I am more than willing to sign the contract that was sent to me by your attorney.'

'Yes I would surely like to do it with you sir.' Katy said, jumping up and doing a little victory dance.

'Then I will ask my lawyer to send over the signed documents to you as soon as possible. It was nice talking to you. Thank you Miss Hudson. Bye bye.'

'Angela I did it! I got it! It's done!' Katy screamed as she threw herself around Angela who had just arrived at the hospital.

'Did what?'

'I get to keep Jess! The father of Alison agreed to not switch the children! He is willing to sign a contract to say that he will have no right over Jessie and the same goes for me! There will be no more complication!'

'Woah woah woah! Are you saying that you will never meet your biological daughter? Katy are you sure?'

'Yep. Jess is my one and only daughter and she is all that I need. I don't want her going to some other country where they speak a different language! I need her to be safe right here with me in LA.'

'I understand that you two are inseparable, but are you sure that you don't want to meet your daughter?'

'I'm sure... I don't need anyone else other than Jessie.' Katy said with a proud smile on her face. The smile was soon overwhelmed by a deep frown. 'Crap I need to go check on Jess I'll talk to you later ily sis!'

Katy knocked softly on the room door after knowing that her angel is awake from the doctors. Katy popped her head into the gap as she opened the door. Jessie was curled up into a bundle, hiding herself under the covers.

'Can I come in? I am here to deliver Starbucks to an amazing little angel. I heard that she loves blueberry muffins and iced chocolate.'

'Mommy! Mommy I miss you!'

'Hey babes are you feeling any better?'

'I'm better when you are here with me mommy... Mommy I love you...'

'Come honey, eat something. I can hear your stomach grumbling over here!' She said as Jessie reached out for her mommy.

'Mommy have some!' Jessie said as she broke her muffin into half and handed it to her mother.

'Mommy's fine. You should have more honey, afterall I don't think that you have eaten that much.'She said, wrapping her arms around her while Jessie leaned on her chest.

'No mommy. I want to share it with you.' Jessie insisted. She opened Katy's palm and placed half her muffin in her hand with a delightful smile.

I love you little angel... I love you so, so much...'

'Mommy? Is my heart good now?'

'Let me see...' Katy said in her baby voice as she placed her head onto Jessie's heart. 'Hello Mr Heart, are you good now? Are you going to listen to my Jessie now?'

'What is Mr Heart saying? Mommy what is Mr Heart saying?'

'Mr Heart said that he will be good from now on, he said that he is sorry for what he has put you through. Jess do you forgive Mr Heart?'

'Mommy you told me to always forgive, be brave and be kind. I forgive you Mr Heart... now be good from now on okay? I love you Mr Heart...' Jess said, pointing to her chest.

Jessie was getting stronger and better day by day. Her wounds were not infected luckily, and her system is getting stronger and better by the day and a few weeks later Jessica was cleared and was ready to go home.

'Babes I have good news and bad news for you. Which one do you want first?'

'Bad...' Jessie said anxiously, her eyes locked onto her mother.

'The bad news is that you will have to say goodbye to your friend Payton.' Payton is a gorgeous five year old little girl with lung cancer. The two got quite close and kept each other entertained for the past few weeks. Jessie frowned as she couldn't figure out why. Is her friend okay? 'The good news is that you are leaving Payton because you just got cleared and you can come home!'

'Home? Mommy really?'

'YEP! ARE YOU EXCITED?'

'YAYYYYYYYYYYYY!' Jessie said, throwing her arms in the air.

'You are so adorable babes... mommy wants to eat you for breakfast.'

'Like a dumpling?'

'Like a dumpling... Come on! Are you ready? We are going home!'

'Are we going to fly? Mommy are we going to fly?'

'Yep. Come on! You can see Monkey and Kitty!'
