Chapter 9 (Treat Me Like You Love Me)

'Mommy Mommy! Wake up! I think we're here!' Jessie said as she shook her mom's arm.

'Where?'

'I think we're in Japan now mommy!'

Katy mumbled something before putting her chair back up to the landing position. The last thing that she remembered was boarding the plane and then going straight to sleep with Jessie next to her.

'We're here already?'

'Yes mommy. You were sleeping for a long time, and I didn't want to wake you because you were tired. I was so bored mommy!'

'Awww honey I'm sorry, mommy just kind of passed out. What do you want to do first after we land?'

'Cat Cafe! I want to go to the cat cafe!' She exclaimed.

'I know babes, but our booking is for tomorrow. How about we go shopping today, then after the day at the cat cafe, we go to Disneyland?'

'Yay!'

'I'm glad that you're happy Jess. Come on! What hotel do you think we're staying in?'

'Annie? Annie where are you?' Alison screamed.

'What is it?'

'Come on! Get ready! GET READY!'

'Is dad back?'

'He's there! He's outside! He's coming in!'

'GO! NOW!' Annie ordered.

'I'm not going anywhere! I'm staying with you!'

'No you're not! Go! You are not going to be here as a punching bag for him again! GO!'

'No... but you can't.... you can't possibly take my share again! You can't even walk properly! Your ankle has gotten worse! He will kill you!'

'He won't kill me, I won't let him and you know that. I promised you I'll take care of you and you know that I'll never break a promise.' She said as she kissed her little sister.

'Please Annie! Let me stay!'

'No! Go! He's coming in! He's got the door! GO NOW! LOCK THE DOOR AND DON'T COME OUT NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS! Go! I love you Ali!'

'I love you too...'

Alison ran up the stairs and slammed the door shut behind her. She sat down with her back against the door as she heard her father enter the house.

'Sir...' She winced, thinking back in the times her father was loving and when she was allowed to call him daddy.

'Cut out the crap you unthankful brat!' Mr Moore hollered.

The next thing Alison hears was her sister falling to the floor and screams. She had the greatest urge to run downstairs and help her sister, but she knew that she had to obey her sister. She covered her ears and buried her head in between her knees, trying to ignore what's happening downstairs.

The moment her father walked into the house, Annie knew that this will end up being very bloody when she smelt the strong alcohol from her father. The second her father saw her, he punched her in the eye and she fell backwards, her head hitting the floor.

'Sir please! Please! I beg of you!'

'SHUT UP!' He said as he walked towards her and grabbed Annie by the neck and lifted her up until her feet no longer touched the floor.

'Daddy what are you doing!' Alison screamed.'

'Shut up and get lost!' He said, not really wanting to punch her yet. To Mr Moore, Alison is more useful, I mean after all, she was the one who gained him a million pounds. On the other hand, Annie is less useful to him as she was the one who used more money from going to private school before he spiralled out of control. Annie has a passion for learning, which is also why it was extra annoying for Mr Moore as she always begged to be put back into school, any school.

'Daddy please! Let Annie go!'

'I said get lost before I have to punish you!'

'Daddy please!'

'You never learn do you?' He said as he hit Alison on the side of her head, and then as she crashed onto the ground, he went to her and kicked her in her stomach a few times. 'Learn to obey Ali! Learn! This is your warning. If you don't obey me, well you're going to end up like your sister over here!' He said looking at Annie, who was turning blue.

'I'm sorry... I'm sorry daddy...' She whispered as she saw her father drop Annie onto the floor and walk away without looking at them.

'Annie... Annie are you okay?' Alison asked worriedly as her sister coughed and gasped for air.

'Ali I told you to not to come down...' She murmured.

'I'm sorry Annie... I had to... I didn't have a choice.'

'Are you okay? What did he do to you?'

'Nothing... I'm fine Annie...'

'No you're not fine! You're hurting. What did he do to you!'

'He just kicked me... it's nothing Annie, I'm sorry.'

'Baby come here... I'm so sorry...'

'I love you...'

'I promise you that I'm always going to be here for you Ali. For ever and ever.'

(In Japan...)

'Jess? Come out and let me see! How's it?'

'Mommy I look ugly...' Jessie said as she came out of the dressing room in a yellow dress.

'Babes you can never look ugly.' Katy said as she spun Jessie around.

'But I do... look mommy, I look like a chicken.'

'Jess you don't look like a chicken. This dress does though. Why don't you try and put something else on. Like maybe, this navy blue one? This looks very pretty.'

'Okay!' She said as she skipped back into the dressing room with the new dress in her hands.

'Mommy I like this one!' Jessie exclaimed as she came out five minutes later.

'You look gorgeous my little princess.' Katy said as she gave her daughter a hug. 'So do you want this one and these t-shirts?'

'Yes please mommy, but will it be too expensive? Mommy what are you getting?'

'Of course it won't be too expensive. Nothing is too expensive for you baby. Mommy's getting this sweater.'

'It's really pretty mommy, like you.'

'I want to eat you my little pancake. Come on let's go, we're going to have sushi for dinner after we find Auntie Shanny, Auntie Tamra and Auntie Erika.'
