(A Month Later...)

'Jessie's growing up so quickly Katy... she's really beautiful.'

'I know, I am so happy for my baby, but I'm also scared that she won't be my baby for any longer, I mean look at her, she's growing up so quickly...' Katy said, watching her daughter with Angela and Stella.

'I know the fear Katy, I mean look at you. It seems like it was only yesterday when you popped out of my lady parts. Ah the good memories, the good times when you looked like a potato, and now, look at you, you're all grown up now and you have your own little one. Oh my little feather...'

'EWWWWWW! Okay mom I love you but stop it now... I don't want to know how much I looked like a potato...' She joked as she play rolled her eyes at her mother.

'I'm just saying!' Mary said cheekily. 'Katy, I mean I'm just wondering... do you ever wonder like how the other girl is? Like I know that you made it very clear that all you need is Jessie, and I am not complaining about that because god look at her, she's like a little angel. At first when you know, when I knew you had to raise her alone, I was worried that you may not be able to handle the mommy pressure. Of course I know that you love her more than anything, but I was worried that you won't be able to raise her properly into someone she is right now, but you never had a problem with it... and I am really proud of you for getting the balance right between work and Jessie.'

'I mean Jessie always comes first over anything, but I know what you mean mom... and thank you.' Katy said, trying to avoid the questions about Alison.

'But what about the whole thing with the switch?'

'I guess I do sometimes think about how different my life would be without the switch, I mean never getting to know Jessie is such a scary thought. When I think about how weird it would all be without the switch. I mean Jessie will be Alison and Alison will be Jessie.'

'Do you ever feel like you would like to know Alison?'

'Not really now... Jessie's all that I need, and I know that Alison is happy with her family, and I think that's all that matters. I would like to meet her and I think it's the same for Mr Moore, but I don't want that to happen until both girls are much older... like maybe twenty.'

'I love you for how you handled the whole situation with the switch, and I am so glad that you weren't afraid to keep Jessie instead of having Alison, who is yours by blood and much healthier.'

'I will never not want Jessie mom, she's too perfect.'

'I know Katy... I know... oh look! And here she comes.'

'Grandma grandma! Look! I made this for you!' Jessie said as she gave Mary a hand drawn card.

'What's that little angel?'

'It's a card for you grandma to thank you for being the best grandma ever!' She said as she kissed Mary on the cheek.

'Thank you Jess, and you are the best granddaughter I've ever had. Guess who's getting ice cream for being such a good girl?'

'Me! Thank you grandma! Oh wait, mommy can I have an ice cream?'

'Of course you can, but maybe not now babes, I think grandpa's done with the barbecue and I don't want you to be full before dinner. Can you have ice cream with grandma after dinner?'

'Yes I can mommy.'

'You are such a good girl Jessie.' Mary commented.

'DINNER'S READY!' Keith hollered not long after Jessie started playing with her Elsa doll again.

'Mommy can I help set the table?'

'Of course you can. Follow me.' Katy said before taking Jessie's hand.

(In England...)

'Daddy please may I see Annie? I miss her...'

'Why am I not good enough for you now?'

'No... I just want to see her... I really miss her...'

'Are you going to disobey me again? Have you not learn your lesson yet?'

'Daddy please...'

'SHUT UP!' He hollered as the front door slammed open.

'Robert Moore! We missed you! Where have you been?' Said a very tall bald man with tattoos covering his arm. Alison was on the ground, clutching to her stomach in pain. She hoped these people will not hurt her like her father did. Alison was afraid because they were all very loud.

'Oh who do we have over there? Robert is that your daughter?'

'Uh... I...'

'CUT THE CRAP! WHERE'S OUR MONEY THAT YOU STOLE? DID YOU REALLY THINK THAT WE WOULDN'T FIND YOU?'

'I told you that I don't have your money... Whoever that told you that is a liar!'

'I don't think so. What do you think boys?' The tallest one said to four other followers.

'Of course he has your money!' They all said in union.

'Woah look at this little girl. Robert did you hurt her?'

'No why do you think I will do something like this?'

'Hey you! Yes you little girl! What happened to your eye? Did your father do that to you?'

Mr Moore glared at Alison, warning her not to say anything. Alison froze as she started sobbing.

'It's alright, we are not going to hurt you, we can help you... we all know that your father is a very bad man.'

'Daddy sometimes beat me because he says I am bad... he likes to play adult games with me although I hate it.'

'Ooh that is nasty Robert!'

'Don't listen to her! She is a big fat liar!'

'The only big fat liar here is you Robert!' The tallest man said before punching Robert in the face.

'Please don't hurt me sir...' Alison whispered.

'I am not going to hurt you, you've done nothing wrong. What's your name?'

'My name is Alison sir...' Ali said looking at the floor.

'I know that we all seem to be very scary, but we are not going to hurt you because you are just a little girl. What your dad did to you is wrong. You deserve so much better. Remember this okay?' He said as he bent down to look Ali in the eyes.

'I had a little girl too, well she's all grown up now, but as a father I will never hurt you. Your father deserves to be locked up. Now I'm going to call the police and they will get you out of here okay?'

'Thank you...' Alison said before throwing herself at the man who she thought was terrifying as she finally felt as if she was safe again.
