Chapter 25 (Horrible)

'Mommy someone's on the phone for you! The man said this is very important.' Jessie said, running up the stairs with the house phone in her hand.

'Thanks babe.' Katy said, asking her crew to go take five. 'Hello?'

'I hope that this is Katy Perry.' The voice came through the phone, pitch changed. 'Sweet little girl you have, shame that we don't have her with us...'

'What do you mean? Excuse me do I even know you?'

'Oh you will Perry... You will... We have that little girl of yours... what did she say her name is again? Oh yes... Alison...'

'Oh my god you have her? What do you want with her?'

'You're lucky that we don't have Jessica, your precious little one.... We want a million bucks, and you will give the money to us if you want your meat loaf back alive.'

'Oh my god... um can I at least talk to her?'

'Nope, she's out cold after she tried to escape.'

'Well how will I know that she is actually with you?'

'Well you can be sure when we send you her body back, or you can just give us the money then she can be yours in one piece.'

'Well um er how should I pay you? What should I do?'

'You'll find out.' The voice said before the line died.

'TAMRA? MOM? I NEED YOU BOTH NOW! NOW!' Katy yelled, getting up from her chair and running down the stairs as everyone stood bewildered staring at her. 'What is it?'

'Jessie why don't you go watch a movie? Mommy have some big people things to do with grandma. And there will be surely be more tall people in black suits around here in less than half an hour, they will be here to look after us to make sure everything is alright here.'

'Okay mommy, I love you...'

'I love you too Jess, and tonight we can go out for dinner if you want my sweet. I'll see you later!'

'Katy what's wrong?'

'I just had a very weird phone call and they claimed that they have Alison... Like they've got her ransom... but they have no proof...'

'How much do they want?'

'A million bucks...'

'Katy don't risk it, just pay them, you never know what they will do to her...'

'Mom I'm not saying that I'm not paying or anything, but I just need to know that she is okay... and do we call the cops?'

'I don't know Katy... It will be sensible to call for help and back up, but if we do, then we might be risking Alison's life which is really not a good idea.'

'This is such a nightmare... and if Jessie finds out that someone is trying to kidnap her she is going to freak out and she won't be able to go to sleep!' Katy said, not realising that Jessie is standing by the door with her Bambi DVD in her little hand.

'Mommy who's trying to kidnap me? What are they going to do with me?' She said, as she allowed the DVD case slip between her little fingers.

'Oh Jessie I'm so sorry that you had to hear that honey, I thought that you were watching a movie?' Katy said immediately as she went and picked her daughter up and passed on all the positive vibes onto her daughter.

'Yes, but I want you to come with me mommy... I want to watch Bambi with you... Who's trying to take me?

'Jessie this is very important okay? There are some bad people out there who does bad things. They will try to take you away from me and then ask me for money, and mommy definitely don't want that to happen, so please stay here at home and never leave an adult's sight okay?'

'Okay mommy, I promise... Will you come with me to watch Bambi? Please mommy?'

'Yeah of course, mommy will be with you in just a minute. Why don't you go outside with Tamra for the time being?'

'Okay mommy... I love you.' She said before planting a nice kiss on her mother. 'I love you too baby, now go! I'll be with you upstairs really soon okay?'

The moment Jessie left the room, the conversation became serious and hurtful to hear once again. 'So what should we do?'

'I think that we should just wait until they try and call me again. Maybe they just found out that Alison isn't with us with the like... um... long cameras and they just decide that they are going to threaten us for money.'

'Katy you really have to think over this, but we're potentially risking her life if we let them know that we don't care, we have no idea what they are capable of doing to her. There is nothing she can do to defend or save herself...'

'Ugh I really don't know what to do... god damn it...'

'Katy language-'

'Sorry, should I ask John?'

'Yeah do what you want... uh god this is what fame does...'

'Mom really? This right now?'

'God there's no point in worrying until they call me again and tell me what they want. I'm going to go to get Jessie.'

Alison woke up to a man watching her closely. His eyes were dark, deep and up to no good. Alison feared what was going to happen to her. 'Please... please don't hurt me...'

'I can't do anything to you, you're money.'

'Why me?'

'Do you know who you're with before you were here?'

'Yeah... her name is Katy...'

'Well do you know who Katy is?'

'She's Jessie's mummy.'

'Well do you know that she is famous and she is really really rich?'

'No...'

'That's why you're here.'

'But why me?'

'We wanted to get Jessie, but she is way too protected. She's obsessed with that little girl of her.'

'She just doesn't care about me does she?'

'Don't know, and I really don't care that much to be honest.'

'But I thought that you care.'

'I don't now shut up bean before I punch you until you pass out. Just wait till we get the money Alison, just wait. After we get the money we can do what we've wanted to do to you since the beginning.'
