Chapter 14

Darrian, Kaylie and Max had all sent in their DNA swabs. It had been six weeks. They were just waiting on the results. It was Saturday night. Darrian didn't have a match so she was at home with Kaylie. Kaylie had just got off the phone with Greg telling him goodnight.

"I wanna say goodnight to Max mommy." Kaylie said.

"We'll call him but he might be having his match already." She dialed his number.

"Hello?" He said.

"Hi." Darrian said. "Kaylie wants to tell you goodnight." "Do you have time?"

"Put her on." She gave the phone to Kaylie

"Hi Max." Kaylie said.

"Hi."

"I just wanted to say goodnight."

"Goodnight."

"I miss you."

"I miss you too." "I'll see you next weekend."

The following Wednesday after the show Darrian and Max were in bed together. Candles were lit. They were snuggled.

She sighed a relaxed sigh. "That was great sweetie." She kissed him.

"I've been thinking a lot Darrian." "What would you and Kaylie think about moving in with me?"

She smiled. "Really?"

"Yeah."

"I'd love to and I'm sure Kaylie would too."
