Second Chances

Chapter 5

Darrian and Max had went on several dates the last couple weeks. They were having fun together and reconnecting. They also would talk on the phone and text a lot. Darrian was at home texting Max back.

"Mommy, color with me." Kaylie said.

"Ok." "Just let me finish sending this text." She sent the text and sat on the floor. Kaylie put a coloring book in front of Darrian.

"Who are you texting with mommy?"

"My friend Max."

"Do you work with him?"

"Yes." "You've seen him on the TV." "It's MJF."

"He's mean on the TV."

"Yeah, but he's not really like that, he's a nice man." "It's just like mommy." "Mommy's mean on TV too but you know that's not really me."

"Is he your boyfriend?"

"He's just a friend."

The next morning Max and Austin were at breakfast together. Darrian and Max were texting each other good morning.

"Darrian?" Austin asked.

"Yeah."

"How are things going?"

"Great."

"Sleep with her yet?"

"I'm still working up to it." "The first time we slept together, it was spur of the moment." "I want this time to be romantic."

"Sounds like you're falling for her."

"I know I am." "She's such a great person." "I can't wait to meet her little girl."

"Her name's Kaylie right?"

"Yeah."

"How old is she again?"

"Six."

"How long had it been since you'd seen Darrian?"

"Seven years."

"Are you sure Kaylie isn't yours?"

"If she were Darrian would've told me."

"You said she was underage at the time." "Are you sure?"

"Yes."

Later in the afternoon there was a knock on Darrian's hotel room door. She answered it and was delivered flowers. She opened the card. It read.

I just felt like it. I miss you. - Max

She smiled.

Flashback

Darrian and Max had been secretly dating for a month. Darrian had been a lot happier with Max than she'd ever been with Greg. They were both falling for each other hard and fast. It was getting harder and harder for both of them to refrain from having sex. Max knew they couldn't but he wanted to be with her so much.

Darrian and Max were on one of their secret dates. They went to the ice cream stand and each got a milkshake, then they went to the lake. They were sitting in a grassy area. It was cold so Max got a blanket out of his trunk. He sat behind her and wrapped them both in the blanket.

"Better?" He asked. 

"Yeah"

"Darrian I- His phone rang. "Hello?" "Yeah." "You've gotta give me like a half hour." "Bye." He hung up. "I have to go pick up your brother." "He got a flat tire."

"Go." "I'll call an Uber."

"No, I'm taking you home first."

Two nights later Max was spending the night at Darrian's house. Darrian and Kyle's parents were currently on vacation for two weeks. Max and Kyle were down in the fully finished basement playing video games. The basement was huge. There was a pool table, a bar, several couches and a king sized bed. As well as the laundry room in a separate room. Darrian came down the stairs holding a laundry basket.

"Hi guys." She said.

"Hey sis." Kyle said.

"Hi Darrian." Max said.

Darrian went into the laundry room and came out a few minutes later. Max waited until Darrian was up the stairs and stood up.

"Want a drink?" Max asked.

"No."

Max went up the stairs. Darrian was waiting for him.

"Hey baby." Max said.

"Hey." They kissed. Max got a drink, kissed Darrian again and went downstairs.

At around one in the morning Max was in the basement. The only light was the light from the TV. He was in his pajamas. He always stayed in the basement. The basement door opened. Darrian came downstairs in a full-length nightgown.

"Hey sweetie." She said.

"Hi." She sat down next to him. They kissed.

Within a half hour they were making out. She was straddling him. He broke the kiss.

"Go back to your room baby." He said.

"Why, because you want to have sex?" She said grinning.

"Yes." 

She kissed him. "Take me to bed." She felt his erection through pants. "I can't." He said. "I'll never tell anyone sweetie." She took off his shirt. "Just like I'll never tell anyone about this." They kissed. She got down on her knees and took off his bottoms. Having only with Greg, Darrian noticed Max was way bigger. He watched as she took all of him into her mouth. About twenty minutes passed. He couldn't take it anymore and grabbed her head to stop her. "Come here." He said. As she straddled him again he got into his jeans and took out a condom out of his wallet. She took off  her panties. "Make love to me." She said. As they kissed they both moaned as he slipped inside her. He took off her nightgown as she started to move. "Oh Darrian." He moaned. "Oh Max." She moaned. "I've wanted this since the day we met." He said. "You're so beautiful, so sexy, god, you feel so good." "So have I, oh Max." After about a half hour he moved them from the couch to the bed. On top of her he slipped  back inside her moving fast. "Max." She moaned loudly. "Darrian." He groaned. "Oh god, yes. yes, Max, ohhh." She moaned giving in. "God, Darrian." He groaned giving in.

About thirty seconds passed. He kissed her.

"I love you Darrian." He said.

"I love you too Max."
