The day was beautiful, but Karla's mood was dampened. She wasn't even sure she could view Anderson the same way anymore. While he stepped out of the washroom focused on a call, she gazed at him and saw her mother. It all made sense to her now, and her stomach churn. The girl was straight up a replica of her mother. The revocation, brown hair, cute smile...he was everything she loved in her mother. This made no sense, and her head began to hurt. But how was she not of her mother? If her mother wasn't her mother, then who was her real family? Where the hell was she from? Her hand caressed her head, and she felt dizzy. She laid on the bed with her eyes shut. She'd forgotten all about Gabriel, or her mother, or even Anderson. Her soul slowly slipped away and she sank in herself. It was all her and her now. She couldn't think of anything but herself.
"My life has been a lie...my life has been a lie..." she kept repeating over and over, until tears welled her eyes. "My life has fucking been a lie!" She yelled out.

Anderson gazed at her in confusion wondering what was happening.

"Are you fine?" He questioned.
She ignored him and walked out banging the door shut behind her. Her legs didn't know where it was going, but she knew she was headed somewhere. She walked under the son and made sure it hurt her skin. When she was tired, she sat on a city bench and began to sob with the help of a face mask.

"Mum, why?" She cried. "Why did you do this to me? What am I supposed to do now?"

Her phone buzzed. It was a call from Anderson. She ignored it and kept wallowing in self pity wondering what other steps to take. Was that why her mum loved Gabriel more? Because she looked at him as a son more than her. Please make that make sense.

"I am worried for you," Anderson sent her a text message. "Please come back."

Her heart toughened and she hissed. She doesn't give a damn anymore. She was tired of the twists! She was tired of the lies! If he wanted to avenge his family who wasn't his family, then she had to protect hers that wasn't hers.

"Release Gabriel," she typed back and sent.

"I cannot. You know what he did to you..."

"If you really care about me, you will release Gabriel," she insisted, and turned off her phone. Alright! Perhaps she has been nice enough! It was high time she switched to her villain side. She was done being nice to everyone. She was done being played around with. She had to end that then.
