That night was one of the worst nights of Anderson's life. He watched Gabriel struggle to breath as he slowly succumbed to the cold hands of death.

"Brother...brother no!," he sobbed, hugging Gabriel against his chest. The shot was a mistake and he could swear that he never pulled the trigger. Perhaps Gabriel mistakenly pulled the trigger while trying to get the gun off, but either way his brother was dead. He couldn't help but blame himself for it and his entire mood was ruined.

"Gabriel I am sorry," he apologized, burying his head in his blood soaked shirt. This fills a deep void in his soul. A void  he knew can never be filled. Gabriel was never close to him, he couldn't agree more. They both didn't like each other either. But the young guy was still a brother to him. He was a freaking sibling he never had. No matter how much he hated the young man, he couldn't deny how much guilt he felt.

The police came up to him and pulled him off the body.

"It was a mistake. We will cover up for you," they kept saying but Anderson wasn't willing to stay hidden. He couldn't deny the crime he thought he commited. Karla stood behind him and held his shoulder softly, trying to calm him down.

"It is all good," she said to him. "You will not be arrested for self defense."

"Karla, I killed my brother!" He said to her with a broken voice. "I never had a sibling all my life, and the moment I have to cherish one, I ruined it! I killed him."

"You aren't thinking straight right now, my love," Karla curled her hand around his neck. "You didn't do anything wrong."

"This is easy for you to say because you never shot your own blood brother! I refuse for anyone to cover up for what I did tonight! I must go to jail for killing my own brother!"

"He is not your brother," Karla corrected. "The doctor called me up after that day and confessed everything to me. Gabriel suspected that I might conduct a DNA test and contacted my doctor, bribing him to manipulate the results. I promise from deep down my chest that he is not a good person. While I was there, he forcefully kissed me and ran his hands on my lap. You shouldn't be feeling bad for such a monster, Anderson. I know he was my childhood friend, but whatever he did to me...he did to us was unforgivable. He deserves what you did to him."

Anderson frowned in anger and turned his gaze back to the corpse.

"He did what?" He asked with a furious tone.

"He forcefully kissed me and..."

Karla wasn't done, when Anderson went back to the corpse and picked up the gun. He shot the corpse continuously with anger, feeling rage build within him at every shot. The policemen stared at him in shock wondering what went over him.

"Stop it!" Karla pulled his arm in shock. "Are you mad?! Just stop this nonsense!"

Anderson threw the gun back on the floor and walked back towards his car. Karla scurried behind him with an unbelievable look.

"You know that you have gone mad, right? Why the hell would you shoot the corpse like that? The police were ready to cover up for you!" Karla crowd in anger.

"Could you shut up, woman?!" Anderson roared. "Can a man ever impress a woman?! You were in support of me shooting him a few minutes ago! What is wrong with you now?" He asked.

"I was in support then, but that doesn't mean you should go rampage and shoot the corpse a few more times! It made you look like a psychopath!"

"That's because I am a psychopath!" Anderson said with a frown. "I am a freaking psychopath! Seems you do not know me, do you? Perhaps Bella was right. A leopard can never change his spotting!"

Karla felt deeply uncomfortable. The Anderson before her wasn't one that she knew. This person was so different. It made no sense and this made her uneasy. They drove back home without saying a word, and soon Bella was at the gate to welcome them both.

"How was the plan? Did it work?" Bella asked, not bothering to notice Karla. Karla rolled her eyes at her rudeness.

"Obviously it worked, I am right here,"Karla directed her gaze at her.

"Bella, I need to talk to you...," Anderson said with a drained tone. "Alone."

Bella nodded and soon they were off into the house to discuss. This got Karla concerned as she leaned against the car wondering why she wasn't involved. What the hell was going on with Anderson all of a sudden? His mood swings were mad...or had his actions reminded him of something from his past. Something that only Bella knew of?

"Should I make dinner?" One of the servants asked with a smile.

"Sure, just try and make something simple," Karla informed her before making her way into the house. As she walked up the stairs, her eyes wandered to the shut marital room door. They were both there.
