Karla removed her earrings silently wondering what the receptionist was hiding. What the hell could be in her record?
"My damsel," Gabriel wrapped his hands around her waist and kissed her softly. She sharply took his hands off in slight irritation. Even though they weren't siblings, it was hard. She just couldn't accept it.
"I have a slight headache now," she lied. "I need to sleep."
She went to bed, and removed the hair pin keeping her long hair together. Her hair fell to her shoulders, and the hairpin went on the stool shining its radiant gems.
"You are hiding a lot from me, are you not?" Anderson questioned observing her face.
"And so?" She asked rudely, before lying down and facing away from him.
"I...I don't know what to think anymore," he slapped his waist. "Things aren't supposed to be like this. We are supposed to be helping each other here. You are acting distant as if I did something wrong."
"I swear, you did not do anything wrong," Karla turned back to him in defense. "The mistake is from me, okay? I am the one having mood swings right now."
"I can help you," Anderson had a calm soothing voice which ought to calm her down. He sat beside her and carressed her arm softly. "Give me a chance, Karla. Let me make things right for you. Share your pain with me."
"Back off!" Karla pushed him off with a frown. "I do not want you getting involved. I warn you..."
"Come on, I married you," he reminded her. "There shouldn't be a problem sharing your joy and pain with you."
Karla offered him a sarcastic laugh.
"Isn't it beautiful that you're suddenly a perfect husband just like that? You almost killed someone right in our home, and you pretend to be sweet," she hissed.
"I didn't harm Gabriel on purpose. He was trying to launch at you! I was trying to protect you!"
"O! Goodness! Spare me that! You should have let him launch at me. At least he will not kill me," she rolled her eyes and turned away.
"Alright, I am sorry," he apologized. "Let me make this up to you...please."
He kissed her neck and pulled her closer to himself. She tried to push him away, but all attempts were to no avail. He starved for her and wanted her so bad. It made no sense why, and her whole body was beginning to tremble in lust. Then she frowned, and her lust turned to anger.
"No...," she thought to herself. "I can't let him control my thoughts again." She stretched out her hands to the side table and grabbed hold of her hair pin. As he unclipped her bra, and kissed her navel, she raised up the hair pin to stab him straight into the back. The. Her grip weakened and she couldn't do it anymore. His kisses were mind blowing and his touches meant a lot to her. She...just...she just couldn't help it. As he slipped her bra off and grabbed her boobs, the hair pin fell from her hands and their lips collided with each other. Her hands wrapped around his neck, and she surprisingly wanted him again. It made no sense why, but she did. She craved her husband and could not see that as an exception.
He gazed into her eyes and her body weakened. The weakness she avoided overcame her again, and she felt her eyes tear up. This guy...what exactly does he do to her? Why couldn't she hate him deeply the way she wanted to? Was he that great at manipulating feelings or what?
After their initial moment, she laid on his chest and stared out into the empty space. His hands caressed her back and she had lots of questions.
"You know you can share anything with me, right?" He said with a sleepy tone. His hands went from her back to her hair, and he gave it a soft massage.
