"Guys, the rain is really starting to come down out there." Emily commented as she stood mesmerized in the window.

The girls had spent most of their morning relaxing and playing card games with each other. Even though Beca was in pain, having a distraction was helping her a lot.

"Yeah, I think it's supposed to rain all day." Stacie added as she joined Emily by the window.

Just as she finished, a loud clap of thunder rang through the sky.

"Looks like we can't do anything out there today." Flo said.

"Yeah, there's a soda joint pretty close by. Maybe we could take a drive down there and see what it's about." Amy suggested, already grabbing her shoes and keys.

"Are you okay to stand and walk to the bus, Becs?" Chloe asked as she stroked the brunettes head which laid in her lap.

"Should be." She said back, closing her eyes and leaning into the touch.

"Sit up for a second. I'll go grab our shoes." Chloe said.

She headed for their bedroom and grabbed two pairs of shoes. When she arrived back in the living room, most of the girls were bundled up and heading out the door. Chloe helped Beca get her shoes on before handing the brunette her jacket before putting on her own.

"Think you can stand?" Chloe asked, offering an arm for her girlfriend to take.

Beca nodded before standing up, wincing a little as she put pressure on her leg but pushing through the pain as she used Chloe as a crutch.

"Feeling okay?" Chloe asked as they stepped out the front door.

"It's f-fine." Beca said, biting her lip hard to suppress a wince in pain.

Chloe saw this and scooped Beca up in her arms and carried her the rest of the way to the bus.

The drive to the soda shop was full of chatter and loud music while the rain poured down hard outside. Beca leaned into Chloe, feeling slightly drowsy from the pain medication she took earlier.

"Are you okay?" Chloe asked quietly, staring into Beca's pained deep blue eyes.

"Mhm." She muttered, worried her voice would crack if she spoke.

"Do you need more medicine?" She asked, grabbing Beca's hand in her own and running her finger over the knuckles.

"Please?" Beca all but whispered, eyes beginning to water.

Chloe's heart broke. Beca was in so much pain and there was nothing she could do about it. It seemed just walking the couple steps she did made the pain flare intensely.

"Of course, baby." Chloe pulled the pills out of her purse and dropped a few in Beca's palm. "Last time, you only had one. I gave you triple that, so you're going to be drowsy here in a bit."

Beca nodded and swallowed the pills with some water before tucking her head in the crook of Chloe's neck.

"You're okay, sweetheart." Chloe cooed as she held Beca close, rubbing her back soothingly.

Eventually, the bus pulled up to the soda shop. The girls unloaded and headed inside. Chloe scooped Beca up in her arms and carried her to a large table and sat her down.

"What do you want to drink?" Chloe asked, kneeling down and resting her hands on her girls knees.

"Rootbeer float?" She asked, earning a smile from Chloe. The ginger knew those were her girlfriend's favorite.

"Of course, baby." Chloe stood up and pressed a kiss to her forehead before going back to wait in line.

By the time Chloe went to the table, most of the Bella's already had their drinks. She sat beside her girlfriend, placing the float in front of her. She could tell the medicine was kicking in by the way she was slightly slumped forward in her seat.

"Here's your float, Becs." She said softly.

"Thank you, Chlo." Beca responded sleepily.

"Of course, baby."

As the girls drank their drinks and talked amongst themselves, Beca became less and less conscious of her surroundings as the drowsiness started kicking in. She finished majority of her float before pushing it to the side so she could rest her head in her arms on the table.

"Is she okay?" Jessica asked, pointing at Beca who was almost asleep.

"Yeah, is she? Shawshank looks like she got knocked out by a dingo." Fat Amy added.

"She's just tired from the pain meds she took. She's okay." Chloe stated, looking at Beca beside her and rubbing her back soothingly.

"Chlo?" Beca's muffled voice came from where her head was buried.

"What's wrong, sweetie?" Chloe asked, leaning close to hear Beca.

"I'm tired." She slurred sleepily. Chloe laughed a little.

"I know, Becs. We're about to head out." Chloe added as she stood up to throw her and Beca's drink cups away.

"Let's head home. Shawshank needs recovery from her axe fight this morning." Amy joked as all the girls began to stand.

Chloe went over to Beca and picked her up, seeing it was a lot harder now than before due to her body being almost completely limp. She got the brunette to the bus and sat her down. As soon as they began driving, Beca was fast asleep against Chloe.

When they got back to the cabin, Beca was still dead asleep. Chloe carried her back inside and quickly to their room where she took off the girls shoes and jacket before helping her under the covers.

"Sleep good, sweetie." Chloe whispered, pressing a kiss to Beca's head before heading towards the door.

"Chlo?" Beca muttered, causing the ginger to turn around.

"What is it, Becs?" She asked quietly.

"I love you." She slurred sleepily, not once opening her eyes.

"I love you too, Beca."
