reason #11 (your sense of humour)
a/n, sorry that this chapter is so short, letters always vary in length anyways. next chapter will be longer and better. hope you like it!!
dear luke,
this is the eleventh reason of 101 why I loved you.
you were always laughing. and when I say always, I mean always. for some reason, you found everything funny. or, at least tried to make things that weren't funny somewhat humerousy.
you'd be with my family, my friends, and you'd just start making these god awful jokes that I absolutely despised but still managed to laugh at because everything that you did, everything that you would do, was a part of you as a whole, as a person, and I loved you enough to listen to the same jokes over and over.
you'd find a joke to make about everything, and sometimes it got to the point where I wanted to chuck a brick and your head and tell you to stop before I slap you silly. but, did you listen? of course not.
you thought it was funny to make me mad, actually, so you would continue to make horrible jokes about everything because of your sense of humour.
this one time, actually, we were sitting outside, and I had just found out my childhood pet had passed away. I was bawling my eyes out, and like the amazing husband you were, you comforted me and made jokes about her, just trying to lighten the mood to make me feel better about the whole thing and to remember that she was in a better place.
you sometimes had a sick sense of humour, and you sometimes said things that you thought was funny but actually wasn't, which sometimes got you into a shit load of trouble with me when we got home and I'd yell at you for embarrassing me in front of my family but in the end that was the way you were and I could never take that for granted.
that was reason 11 of 101 why I loved you.
love, amanda
