reason #20 (how talented you were)
dear luke,
this is the twentieth reason of 101 why I loved you.
you could do so much more than just sing. I found myself observing things you did and how well you would do them.
you were so much more talented beyond singing, though. you could do so much more than you thought, and so much more than you could ever imagine. you were capable of anything, and I saw that.
if you wanted something, you would get it. you would do anything and everything to achieve your dreams and that's what I loved about you. you were so amazing at what you did and how you did it.
one thing you did really well was obviously, play the guitar. it was the one thing you went to when you felt you weren't able to come to me. you had so much passion for the music you wrote and the melodies you strummed on those chords.
you put so much effort into making the beautiful music that you did, and I was always so proud of you for that. you were beyond talented and for the time that your fans knew you and the magnificent potential you held, it was a true blessing.
I believe it was a gift to have your talent shared with us when we did.
I think you knew how talented you were, actually. sometimes you could have been a really big asshole with a huge ego, but it all came with being in a band I suppose.
you knew you were talented, and there was no question. making music for the people who loved you was what you were meant to do, and I always knew that when I saw the way you were on stage.
you had so much talent and I was blessed to have witnessed it when I did. the way you would enunciate your solos, and how passionate you were with your guitar, showed me how much love you had for the music.
you tried as hard as you could to show your talent, and to show everyone how amazing you were. I just wish our daughter knew how amazing you really were.
that was reason 20 of 101 why I loved you.
love, amanda
