Yet another day, yet another one shot. A one shot on one of my most favourite pairings by far; Forth & Park.

This takes place about 7 years later, post university, when the boys are about 28 years old. Though thick as thieves during their university days, the boys had lost contact for a bit when Forth had gone overseas to help his dad with business while Park stayed behind. Lam had also flown to Singapore to work indefinitely for a bit, and thus, all 3 boys had not seen each other in the last 3-5 years.

However, when 2 of them do end up meeting, it will be in the most unlikely situation; one of which both did not see coming.

Will they become each other's rocks or end up being a stumbling block in each other's lives? We may or may not ever know, but hang around for this teaser, will ya? Give them a shot.

Forth's POV

"Yes, Mae! I'm coming back. Stop nagging already! You have been on my case for the last 3 weeks already. Aren't you already tired of it?"

"I wouldn't nag so much if you had turned up properly the last 2 times without bailing on us for work. I know what you are going to say, that you are working hard for our family business. Trust me, your father has received the brunt of my anger! Now you don't set me off, too!"

I groaned inwardly as I promised her I was already at the airport and that she will see me in another 7 hours time. I promised her I could not bail as I was already cleared security! My mother finally hung up, appeased, I rolled my eyes as I hung up, well aware that this woman was clearly up to something. I had successfully evaded her for about 5 years now, but I guess I could not run away from the talk of marriage anymore. I hadn't been seeing anyone for the last few years or so, and I was almost 29. My mother was keen to see me settle down and said she had finally found someone I would never say no to.

She seemed so awfully confident that it was tickling me. But whomever could it be? I landed in Bangkok, around 7 am the following day. I went back home thoroughly, spoilt by my parents, who were thrilled to see me home finally.

But to be fair to my mom, she did not bring up any chat about my marriage plans at all for a few days until Saturday came by, and the house was abuzz with activity again. I looked around warily as I came down for breakfast, knowing something was up.

"What's going on?"

"Today's the groom side is coming to see us. We are potentially going to discuss your engagement."

"Groom? What groom? The one you have been going on about? But why is he the groom? I refuse to be the bride!"

If looks could kill, I would have died by now going by the one my mom was giving me.

"You are just out to annoy me, haven't you? Since you learnt how to speak! What are two guys in a gay marriage called?! Grooms, aren't they! Are you out to frustrate me Forth Jathuraphoom?!"

I kept quiet when I heard my mother call me by my full name. I knew she was pissed. Even my dad steered clear of her!

"You better watch what you say later, around him and his son especially. I don't want the poor kid to be scarred by you for life."

"Kid?! The guy you are getting me married to has a kid?! Why?! I don't want kids! You know that! So why one with a kid?!"

"He's a nice boy. Cute 4 year old. His father has brought him up well. And I think no one can handle you better than this guy. So that's that. I want grandbabies, and it's settled."

I nearly threw my temper at my mom when I heard someone at the front door. Grumbling, I went to open it while still nagging away at my mom. Turning around, I came face to face with Park and this tiny guy in his arms.

"Park, oh my God. Is that you?! I haven't seen you in years!! What are you doing here!!!"

I looked over at the kid in his arms and that's when it hit me.

"You are the one my mom's getting me married to?!"

Park nodded quietly as the little boy stared at us. But though it was Park, something about him was different. He seemed different, mellower, quieter. More serene. He was unlike the fire cracker loose cannon I had known in university.

What the heck had happened to this guy?!

I just stared confused as Park stood at my doorstep, kid in hand, a shadow of his former self. Why was I getting married to Park?

And how come he has a kid?!

  ...............................................................

That's the end for now! Till when I feel like it, if this story will continue or not! But till then, continue to ponder, if they became each other's rocks or stumbling blocks.

Update: It is becoming a FULL FLEDGED story, ya all!
