Hello, everyone! I'm extremely sorry for the late update. I wanted to update the chapter on Friday, as the chapter had nearly finished. After an hour of revising I was surely going to update, however many things came up in my life. 

First, I had no laptop to work on, as I use my laptop for Wattpad, and my little bro was admitted to the hospital due to chikungunya, so mom and dad were in the hospital with him, and I was alone at home to handle the whole house with dinner making and regular cleaning. 

My personal life was asking for my time, so I had to give it. Hope you understand. Just today I got my new laptop and updated the chapter, after getting free from the house chores.

I will try to update chapters around 10 to 12 days from now on, cause my working hours 5 days a week are tight. So, I can update only on 10 to 12 days, but not so long chapters. Just like around the length of today's chapter. Hope you guys understand.

*•.¸♡ AUTHOR'S POV ♡¸.•*

Three maids were attending to the unconscious woman in the bed. She wasn't severely injured but had fresh scars on her arms and feet from walking barefoot for a long time.

Myra stood beside the bed observing the woman. Honestly, she didn't sense any danger from this woman. The woman had only a few belongings, a weird jar, and food items. The maids had already checked her for any weapon and found none.

So much had happened in such a short time. Diego had killed Sage, her locket turned out to be fake, and Diego had revealed that it was inside her, and then this woman had arrived.

Myra was lost in her thoughts when she noticed some commotion outside from the slightly ajar door of the room. Guards were running around the place, and there was a lot of noise.

Myra slowly stepped outside the room and stopped a guard, "What's happening?" she asked as he stopped before her with his head down.

"Queen, King has ordered us to search down the whole palace as soon as possible." The guard replied and left the place apologizing to her as he needed to continue his work as well. Myra was left wondering why Diego had given such an order. 

What was he trying to find?

"Leave me..." Myra's thoughts were interrupted by a faint sound from inside the room. When she returned to the room, she saw that the woman had woken up and was attempting to leave the bed, despite her weak state.

The maids tried to stop her requesting her to sit back, but she refused them jerking their arms from her body as they were holding her in place not letting her leave.

"Leave me! I need to find her. Leave me, I said!" The woman insisted that surprised the maids with her resolute tone despite her weak state. The three maids struggled to contain her until Myra stepped in front of the woman to intervene.

"Please, calm down. You're injured," Myra urged, catching the woman's attention. As the woman looked at Myra, her expression turned into one of shock as she looked at every feature of Myra. Her struggle ceased slowly as she continued to study Myra.
