Chapter-1

*•.¸♡ AUTHOR'S POV ♡¸.•* 

As night falls over the woods, the once vibrant greens and browns of the trees fade into shadowy silhouettes. 

The sounds of the forest change as well, with crickets chirping and nocturnal animals rustling about. 

But amidst the darkness, there is a glimmer of light. A soft glow arises from a cave nestled amongst the trees, casting an ethereal light over the surrounding forest. The cave entrance is dark and foreboding, the jagged rocks forming a menacing archway. 

But the light from within is warm and inviting, casting a golden glow over the trees and lighting the ground below. 

The peaceful quiet of the woodland was slowly breaking as footsteps approached the large cave. 

The footsteps suggested that multiple people were nearing the tunnel, which was correct. Four people dressed entirely in black neared the cave and entered it. 

They were moving rapidly, almost running into the tunnel, as if they needed to get there quickly or face serious consequences. 

They spotted a huge mess that had not previously existed when they left the cave and arrived at the main area where they had been working for a few hours. The deceased corpses of four guys dressed in black clothes were even more startling to them. 

One was under the big rock, one was near the wall, and the other two were not even in one piece. 

One of them, who appeared to be the head of four of them, moved forward, stunned by the chaos. The place seemed to have an earthquake. 

"WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED HERE?" That boss yelled in irritation and rage. They just handled a problem a few hours ago, and now this. This was driving her insane. 

"They are humans." That boss turned and shouted at one of his colleagues. 

"I don't care who or what they are! I just want to know what happened-" She was grabbing her hair in irritation when her gaze was drawn to the most important object there. 

She dashed to a large stone where a large bowl had been put, but it had been toppled and was now on the ground. 

She quickly picked it up and discovered that it was empty. Her eyes widened in surprise as she witnessed this. She quickly shifted her gaze around the room, making sure there was a tiny bit of what she desired. 

"NO!!!" Her piercing shriek reverberated throughout the cave and even outside, causing the calmly sleeping birds to flee in terror. Those three others remained motionless, gazing at their enraged boss. 

"How!!? Who took it away from me?!!" Their leader yelled, hurling the large bowl into the cave, shattering it into countless pieces. 

"She's not here." A woman, one of her colleagues, spoke up, drawing the leader's attention to the broken glass container, where she had caught their team's traitor. 

The leader screamed once more as she began further destroying the already devastated area. After a minute, she calmed down and breathed deeply. The other three people stood there, waiting to hear what their boss would say next. 

After a few seconds of thinking, she turned towards a place where some small bottles filled with different materials were stored. 

She came and smashed one container, which was full of something black, on the floor with great force. 

Instead of dropping to the ground, the black substance flew around the air like a cloud, eventually transforming into three men standing there. They were her slaves, and they did everything she said.
