Myra's eyes flew open as a sharp gasp left her lips. She sucked in desperate breaths. Above her, the familiar ceiling of her bedroom came into view, but it brought no comfort.

Because her whole body was withering in pain, especially in her neck.

She felt like she was burning in pain, and something else as well, which she couldn't name. But more than anything, what caught her breath was the clenching, painful feeling and urgency.

Diego. He was in pain.

And somehow, without knowing. She knew it. She felt it. Felt him.

Somewhere in her heart, having no idea how, but she felt that Diego was in danger, in pain, and she needed to be with him.

"Diego..." A whisper left from her lips. Despite the agonising pain in her body, she forced herself to move.

Determination lit up her eyes as she sat on the bed, placing her hands on it and balancing her body on it. Her other hand instinctively came to her neck, where she felt a burning sensation, hot.

"Ah..." A whimper left her lips as her feet were placed on the cold floor, and she finally sat up on the bed. Onora, who had just entered the room, was stunned by the scene.

"Myra?" she breathed, eyes wide with shock. She ran towards Myra, holding her arms supporting her, before she could lose her balance.

"Myra! What are you doing? Sit back! You're burning up!" Onora scolded her, guiding her gently towards the bed again. She winced lightly, feeling the heat of Myra's body in the high temperatures.

But, even in her weakened state, Myra wouldn't stay down. Her body was failing, but her soul screamed with only one message: Diego. He's in danger.

"N-No... Diego... I-I need to be with him." Myra again stood up, not ready to sit back, her voice shaking as much as much. She stumbled a little while standing up, but Onora supported her.

"B-But-" Onora tried to make her understand, but Myra cut her off.

"No!" Myra raised her voice, strained and breathless, "I need to go to him!" Her focus was completely on Diego.

For a moment, Onora stood frozen, seeing the determination burning in her eyes, even in the weakened state. Exhaling, she supported her, realizing that there was no reasoning with her.

With Onora's reluctant help, Myra stumbled towards the door, her steps shaky and slow, every moment a struggle, but she didn't stop.

With slow and stumbling steps, Myra finally reached the door of the mansion. Placing her hand on the big door of the mansion, supporting her body, while Onora supported her as well.

Breathing heavily in pain and weakness, Myra raised her gaze to the scene happening in front of her. Initially, her vision was blurred, but then it cleared.

And what she saw in front of her stole the breath from her lungs.

There in the wide open field, Diego stood, in his beast's form, Xendar, towering and wild. His body was already pierced with multiple spears, blood dripping down his golden fur.

"No..." A whisper left her lips, filled with raw pain and disbelief as she looked at the horrific scene happening in front of her.

She stood frozen, helpless as Xendar staggered... and then collapsed, with a deafening thud, his body hitting the earth, cracking the ground beneath him.
