Lucy and the book of END

No peace

Hi everyone if you don't know about the arc we're about to get into I suggest catching up on fairy tail haha! I'm going to brush over some moments as I don't want to rewrite the entirety of the last season, I'm about to do a timeskip in which they've seen Mavis and now are on the continent about to get Makarov.

Zeref's POV:

Coming into the kingdom after returning from Fiore always felt strange. To be so hated on one continent and so loved on another. He could sense the 12 within the palace and it was time to get things rolling. Yet he could feel another strong presence within the palace, one he recognised but who?

"Sir, there is someone who desperately wishes to meet you, he's been here for a good few months waiting for your return."

"Tell them they'll have to wait." Zeref strolled past.

"It is a sir Makarov from Fairy Tail, a guild in.."

"I know who they are..." Zeref interrupted.

"Maybe I will go meet him, have him sent to the upper balcony area."

This day was getting more and more interesting for him. How Makarov already knew of Zeref's next move he'd have to ask but it certainly intrigued the dark wizard.

He came up towards the balcony seeing the small man hold a look of disgust on his face.

"I could feel your presence when I returned, sit Makarov."

"You have a whole kingdom that worships you, if only they knew who you really are, Zeref or should I say Emporer Spriggan."

"Actually many are aware of my immortal nature, and they wish to help me on my next mission."

"A whole nation to obtain the Lumen Histoire?"

"No use trying to deceive me, let's just call it by its real name... Fairy Heart, Mavis Vermillion."

"Now the news of war is seemingly making a lot more sense." Makarov commented, finally aware of who was behind the intentioned attack and why.

"I'm positive the Alvarez empire I've built today can easily take on Ishgar as well as Acnologia."

"So all this way and no room for negotiation."

"No. The dragon king festival is about to begin, the king of dragons, the black wizard, you mortals and my demons."

"I will not allow you to have our first master!" Makarov shouted.

Zeref built up dark magic, Makarov was a protective man and he had nothing against him just another piece in his way.

Halfway through casting he could sense something, Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia, as they pulsed with dark magic.

"I appreciate you raising Natsu for me, he'll be so angry when you die. Maybe enough to kill me, well when I get my hands back on his book, and it will make him even angrier when I kill the girl who has it."

A flash happened but it wasn't his magic as he watched Makarov teleport with another in the air. Looks like things are about to get more interesting, time for the war to begin, but with even 1 of the Spriggan 12 he didn't doubt his chances.

He would finally get a hold of her... Mavis, and shape the world he despises so much. Game on Fairy Tail.

Natsu's POV:

"Master!" Everyone chorused. They had finally found him but something felt wrong, darkness in the air and it wasn't Lucy.

"Zeref I saw Zeref!" Mest was petrified holding onto Gramps. The disgusting dark wizard was here, the one who made him this demon. The one who caused Lucy to almost die. He looked towards the castle, feet inching to go until he felt a hand on his shoulder with his Cait Shelter mark.  It was Gray, shaking his head, he knew it wasn't smart but he could end this now, he still felt that urge to just... kill him. He needed to keep it to himself, he can't feel that influence, Lucy did everything she could to save him.

"He intends to start a war, he has an army and 11 mages on par with or stronger than God Serena, and it includes God Serena." Makarov spoke lowly.

How were they to survive that!

"I thought God Serena was Fiore's number 1 wizard." Lucy stuttered out.

"I guess he has no loyalty to our continent, we must get back and warn everyone, this war is about to begin." Makarov stood determined.

Time skip~

The magic council warned, Fiore warned, the guilds warned and Magnolia evacuated. Mavis had just explained the power she held beneath the guild, her story and why they were against the dark wizard himself. Fear struck the whole guild, the larger continent to the west was about to strike, the dark wizard was about to strike and Acnologia was also likely to show face. This was unsurvivable, but the guild would fight and fight, he would protect them, all of them.

He would beat Acnologia for his father, Zeref for Lucy and Alvarez for Fairy Tail and Fiore. He was all fired up.

Lucy's POV:

Thankfully her magic was fully back up to speed, she would fight through the pain, keep the book of END, protect Mavis and eliminate Zeref. This was her plan, she had become so well inversed in dark magic... to wield it instead of be attacked by it, and now she knew how Zeref used it and can use that to protect herself. She would protect Natsu from his brother whatever it took, because she loved him so deeply. She wished he loved her too, but this wasn't the time to find out, war was coming and she was ready.

All the guilds were converging on Fairy Tail, they knew the goal of Alvarez so could prepare their defences accordingly. They just wish they knew more of their opponents like Zeref knew of them.
