I slowly opened my eyes and took a breath before looking around. My whole body hurts. "Buck?" I heard Eddie say softly causing me to look in the direction his voice was coming from. I smiled as I saw him sitting beside me squeezing my hand.
"Hey handsome" I whispered with a smile. I watched him smile back with tears in his eyes. "What's wrong?" I asked confused.
"Nothings wrong, you're okay" he smiled and wiped away his tears. "I love you Buck"
"I love you too Eddie" I replied softly as I squeezed his hand for reassurance.
"Buck!" Christopher hollered as he came to the edge of the bed.
"Hey buddy" I said weakly with a smile.
"Buck, what happened?" He asked concerned.
"Just had a little accident at work. I'm okay, I pro-" I started but suddenly couldn't speak or move as I felt my body convulsing. I heard yelling around me as I couldn't control my body or see anything. I began to panic as my body continued to shake uncontrollably.
Suddenly everything went still and I felt sleepy again. "Eddie" I choked out softly as tears streamed down my cheeks and my eyes slowly closed in an uncontrollable waive of drowsiness.
"I'm right here Evan, it's okay" I heard Eddie say as I closed my eyes. I could hear the pain in his voice.

Eddie's POV:
I started to panic when I saw Buck begin to shake aggressively. He was mid sentence with Christopher when he suddenly began to seize. I grabbed Christopher away from the bed and held him close as tears streamed down my face.
"Dad what's wrong with Buck?" Christopher asked panicked through his sobs.
I held him close to my chest and rubbed his back. "He'll be okay, he'll be okay, I promise" I whispered through my own tears.
I watched the nurses run around Buck and inject something into his IV line. Buck's body slowly stopped shaking and he laid still on his back.
"Eddie" Buck breathed as his eyes fluttered shut. I immediately grabbed his hand.
"I'm right here Evan, it's okay" I assured him and watched him drift to sleep.
"Dad, is Buck going to be okay?" Christopher asked looking up at me.
"He'll be okay" I assured him. I don't know if I'm reassuring him or myself more.
I can't even describe how terrified I am right now. I'm scared for Buck. I'm scared for Christopher. Christopher already lost his mom and barely made it through that. Buck has to be okay.
I sat there with Christopher in my arms, watching Buck sleep for awhile. I feel like I was counting Buck's breaths as he slept.
It's pretty late and Christopher is asleep in the chair next to me, as I'm sitting here just watching Buck. I watched as Buck slowly opened his eyes. I immediately jumped up to be by his side.
"Buck, hey, it's okay. I'm right here" I whispered and grabbed his hand. He gently squeeze my hand and blinked a couple times.
"What happened?" He asked groggily and slowly lifted his arm to rub his eye.
"You had a seizure a couple hours ago. The doctors said it was because of the electricity and your heart" I responded and couldn't hold back my tears. He slowly lifted his hand to my face and wiped a tear off my cheek.
