*6 months later*

Buck's POV:
Today is Lilah's first birthday and I am stressing out. Everything needs to be perfect for my baby girl. We are having her party here at the house and everyone is coming over. I started stress cleaning last night, and this morning I woke up super early to start decorating.

"Morning dad" Chris yawned as he entered the kitchen while I was hanging up some streamers.

"Good morning buddy" I smiled before pausing to hug him. "I'm making pancakes for breakfast once I finish hanging this up, so hang tight, it'll be ready soon" I told him and he nodded as he sat down at the table.

"Good morning babe" Eddie smiled as he walked in holding Lilah. He gave me a quick kiss and handed Lilah over to me.

"There's my beautiful birthday girl!" I said excitedly before kissing Lilah's cheek and setting her in her high chair.

I cooked the pancakes and cut up some fruit for everyone to have for breakfast. I sipped my coffee as I watched Lilah tear apart her pancake and giggle as she took little bites. "What time is everyone getting here?" Eddie asked as he ate.

"Nap time is from eleven to two, so everyone should start arriving around two thirty so our little princess isn't grumpy when they get here" I smiled.

"Can my friend Penny come?" Chris asked nervously.

"Penny? Like the Penny you like?" I asked with a smirk and nudged him, causing him to blush. "Yes, she can come buddy" I laughed.

"Please don't embarrass me, or call me buddy in front of her" Chris pleaded causing Eddie and I to laugh.

"Why? You've always been my buddy" I laughed as I playfully pushed him.

"Okay....we won't embarrass you in front of your crush" Eddie chuckled as he began cleaning up the dishes.

We spent all day cleaning up the house and getting ready for the party until two thirty rolled around and everyone started to arrive.

"Hey! Where's the birthday girl?" Hen asked excitedly as she walked in the door. Her kids followed behind and ran through the house to start playing.

"She's playing in the living room" I smiled as I gave her a hug "Hey Karen, how are you?" I asked before I gave Karen a quick hug.

"Never in my life did I think I'd see Evan Buckley engaged and raising two beautiful babies!" Athena hollered as she walked in and hugged me.

"I'm not a baby" Chris groaned causing us to laugh.

"You're always gonna be our baby" I chuckled as I gave him a hug. He rolled his eyes then looked down the driveway.

"Penny is here!" He hollered with excitement as she walked up the driveway.

"Hey Buck!" Chimney exclaimed as he walked in and handed me a gift bag. He set G down to lead her toward the living room to play with Lilah.

"Maddie" I smiled and hugged her.

"Hey Evan, I'm so happy to see you" she smiled before heading in to watch G.

Suddenly I saw my parents walking up the driveway. I haven't talked to them since that night at dinner. I took a deep breath and reminded myself to be calm. "Hey Evan" mom smiled and hugged me. "Evan" dad smiled as well before also hugging me.

"Hey mom and dad" I sighed with a forced smile.

"Evan....i just want to apologize for what we said last year. We've missed you, and we are so proud of you and your beautiful family" mom explained as dad nodded along.
