Inside Tessa's room, chatter filled the enclosed space, golden rays bleeding in through the estates' many windows. Tessa was busy brushing J's hair, V, N, and Y/n simply sitting throughout the room while CYN laid across the top bars of Tessa's bed frame, letting her limbs dangle off the sides, playing with her hair, twisting and turning it between her polymer plastic like fingers, completely ignoring the conversation held below.

After tying the small bow that held J's hair in place Tessa held out a mirror in front of her, the drone turning her head to look at the newly given ponytail. "So, ya like it?" Tessa hummed, resting her chin on the drone's shoulder. "I... Yes?" J wasn't quite sure of her opinion on the new look. "I think you look great J!" N cheered her, giving an enthusiastic thumbs up. "Looks pretty." The others would voice the opinions, all positive seeming. Well minus CYN, she didn't wanna say anything period, being too entranced with the sheets and her hair. J found the praise rather odd, she didn't hate it exactly but it just felt... Weird. Almost wanting to dismiss it entirely.

'Thanks I guess.' She grumbled, looking away and handing Tessa back the mirror. "Hmm, why don't we try a different style." J didn't try to argue, letting Tessa undo the work she previously focused so intently on, allowing the teen to style her hair however pleased.

Some time into the day a few knocks thumped against the door, everyone looking to the noise as Lucy peaked her head inside. "Hello, you mind if I come in?" She questioned despite already halfway into the door, not like they would have denied her entry either way. "Hey mom, what do ya need?"

"Well me and Charles were about to head to town for some errands. Maybe you'd wanna come with, get outta the house for a bit?" It didn't take much time before the two quickly answered 'sure.' loving the idea of being out of this space for a while. "Lovely, we'll be leaving in half an hour so be ready." After informing them of their time window to get ready she was about to leave before Tessa called out. "Ooh wait, can the others come with?" Lucy paused, playing in her mind the best wording. "Oh, I'm sorry sweetie, but you're uh..." her words came to a halt, seemingly hesitant to speak. "Friends... Will have to stay. I hope you understand dear." The joy seemed to dwindle slightly, letting out a sad huff, but eventually said it was 'okay' despite wishing they could have joined.

So with their small time window Tessa searched for a good outfit to wear and be more presentable outside then the pajamas she was in now, holding up two dresses while looking in the mirror, head tilted in concentration. "Hmm, I'm not sure. What do you think J?" "Both look good." Tessa let out a groan, finding the opinion unhelpful. "Hang on, let me see the options." Y/n spoke up, looking up from what he was doing. Tessa held up the two dresses, Y/n taking a moment before pointing to the one on her left.

"The color fits you better." He answered, turning his attention back to what he was doing earlier. She decided to just try it on and see if it would look better when on, which it did for the most part. While she was getting ready Y/n eventually left the room, saying goodbye to the drones as he too had to get ready.

By the end of the rough time frame the two were ready, waiting outside the front doors, pacing about in utter boredom waiting for the adults who were just telling them to hurry up minutes ago, though now seemed to be moving at speeds that of a snail. Because apparently now they weren't in a rush all a sudden it seems.
