Waking up first Y/n looked around the room, seeing both J and V still asleep, N most likely outside asleep. Contemplating on if it was worth waking up, Y/n eventually found the energy to sit up, rubbing his eyes tiredly with a semi loud yawn. Getting up Y/n looked around for a bit before grabbing his backpack and leaving, hopping down to the snowy floor.
Glancing up he saw a small glint of yellow within the spire, the space squeezing tighter and tighter the higher he looked up until it reached the fine point of the spire. Waving to the still asleep N, Y/n left the spire, wrapping his arms around his torso and lightly rubbing his hands, trying his best to keep his core warm. The sun had started to come up, giving an orange glow to this city of white, light reflecting off the snow.
Walking through the city Y/n was stuck inside his own mind, wondering what the hell he was even doing. By now he's been with the drones for 4 days, and has done absolutely nothing. Holding his breath he quickly took off the mask, popping a pill while walking forward.
He began wondering if Tessa still had her medication, when they left they had only brought the pain relievers and not the anxiety medication. Y/n always hated that pill, it made him feel weird so he rarely even took it. Did Tessa also lose any of her medicine?
What if she's just huddled up in a building or her pod and dealing with immense pain right now?
What if she's freezing to death at this very moment.
Or trapped beneath some rubble from the unstable state of these buildings.
Hell she could be trapped in the pod if hers too got damaged.
But, if she really is, what if it caught fire and she was stuck inside? Could she have burned alive?
Stop, shut up. That's not possible, the chances are slim.
But are they? I mean-
Nope, nope not thinking about it, stop.
Y/n quickly cut off his own mind, telling himself to shut up over and over, pushing away any negative outcome that may have the slightest chance of holding some merit. Refusing to accept the slightest chance of it.
The day was quiet, almost nothing happening as Y/n walked through the city, hands stuffed into his pocket and flipping the lighter between his fingers, eyeing the plethora of random buildings. He doesn't even know what he's meant to be looking for, this planet is too big, even if it was just one state, or hell even a town does he really expect to find her?
Or course not, it's near impossible. She could have easily landed thousands of miles away from me.
Or hell, even in the slightest chance they landed in that same town, or is even... Well wherever this is, it's still impossible to expect to see her.
Easily she could have been going somewhere else, the opposite direction I'm going in.
It's more likely I'll get struck by thunder than find her.
Am I really just expecting to find her based on dumb luck? And am I really that idiotic to think it's possible?
And that's just chance, not even probability, which is most likely lower.
