Sitting inside a barren room Y/n stared down to his feet, arms wrapped around gut, body hunched over, eyes unfocused. Everything seemed to be moving, melting into the center point of his gaze, mouth hung open slightly, unknowingly holding his breath. A constant buzz rattled along his mind, eyes beginning to burn. Gut twisting and churning in pain, the buzz becoming louder by the second, filling his ears with an obnoxious echo.

The soft lock of the door coming undone snapped the boy out of his trance, everything returning back to it's proper shape in a snap, taking in a deep breath, finally taking account how needy his lungs have grown. Sitting up he watched as a man in a suit stepped inside the room, a soft look in his eyes, giving a kind smile. "Evening, Y/n L/N right?" He nodded, sitting up slightly. "Y-Yes sir. That's right."

The man nodded in turn, looking down to one of the files held, sitting in one of the seats adjacent to him, closing the file and setting it aside. "Are you feeling alright? Comfy? Thirsty maybe?" He questioned, Y/n giving a small shrug. "I guess... Throats kinda sore... And a bit hungry." Y/n tried his best not to mumbles, sitting up straight. The man nodded, reaching over to the small fridge, pulling out a water bottle and handing it to the teen, who accepted it with thanks, accidentally chugging more than half of it the moment the first drop entered his mouth, the cold liquid easing the raw burn of his throat.

Realizing how sloppy he must have looked to the man he tore the bottle from his lips. 'S-Sorry.' He sheepishly mumbled, stopping himself from downing the rest of it in a second, screwing the cap back on. "It's all good, no need to apologize." The man chuckled, repositioning himself in his seat. "So, I was hoping to ask you some questions, are you okay with that?" Y/n sat there for a minute, partially confused by the question, but ultimately said it was okay.

"So," He cleared his throat, reaching the folder once again, pulling out some pen. "A few days ago the Elliot's held a gala, do you remember anything of that night?" He hummed out, voice calm and steady. Lulling Y/n into a sense of ease. "Um, well... Nothing much really. I spent the first half of the day working on V, or well, trying I guess. Got ready for the Gala then... Well then we got grounded cause CYN was acting stupid." He spoke, trailing off and going quiet as he remembered the strange way CYN was acting.

"And was that all? You spent the rest of the day in your room?" He questioned further, pen tapping against the paper, the small thumps ringing throughout his ears, the noise louder and more obnoxious than need be. "I, uh... Y-Yeah? I remember having a nightmare, t- then I woke up and... Well I'm here now." He stammered out, limbs growing uneasy, foot thumping against the ground, wanting to just stand up, leave this room.

"I see, would you mind explaining this nightmare? If not you don't have to, but it would be very appreciated." He gently asked, shuffling in his seat. Y/n clamped his mouth shut, eyes flickering around the room, unable to recall the main details, or any details per say, it was all so blurred, vague and nonsensical. 'Dark... Loud.' He answered vaguely, the man waiting a few minutes, and once Y/n didn't continue he scribbled something down. "Alright, so let me see if I have this right. You spent the day working on this, V character, got ready, and ended up spending the rest of your day grounded in your room when you had a nightmare. Is that correct?" Pausing for a moment he clarified the words in his head, giving a nod.

"Alright, well do you recall yourself or anyone you know getting majorly hurt? Maybe in some accident?" His voice seemed to grow more serious, the tapping stopping as he paid full attention to how he may answer. Y/n, albeit put off slightly by the question, shook his head. "No... Nothing too big." He decided to hold off on telling of James punishment, it didn't seem important at the moment. Plus it was already embarrassing enough to tell he was having to get grounded, no need to make it seem as if he is a bad kid and needing multiple reminders to act right.
