A sweet, delicious aroma filled the air, sizzles filling the air, only out tuned by a certain drone who quietly sang to herself, swaying from side to side. A radio station played along in her mind, V humming out the tune in the comfort of the kitchen as she cooked, flowing throughout the environment as she grabbed the needed ingredients. A recipe held up in the top left corner of her screen.

V was quite content with this moment of life.

No one else was there to bother her, just the peaceful bliss of solitude, not that she had a problem with her friends, quite the opposite in fact, but it was nice having a moment for herself. No need to worry about a thing, just letting her mind go blank, letting her body do the work.

Mixing the batter, taking the bowl in her free hand and pouring the batter onto the heated pan, setting down the bowl and moving back to the bacon. V was a bit nervous in attempting this recipe, it was a tad more difficult than what she'd hope, but it shouldn't be a problem. If her friends could fix her then she can definitely make a simple breakfast, right?

“Woah, you sound amazing V!”

“Ah!”

V yelped out, flinching back from the sudden loud noise, both startled and embarrassed. Though unfortunately she was still holding the pain, the food and hot grease flinging out onto the wall and splattering to the floor. ‘Ah dang it.’ V’s shoulders slumped, arms dropping to her side. “Sorry to upset you, big sister.” CYN spoke. Walking over and patting her on the back. “No, it's okay. You didn't do anything, my fault for being so jumpy anyways.” She assured CYN, setting down the pan and grabbing some paper towels and the trash can, cleaning up her mess.

“So, why are you cooking? I thought breakfast was over by now?” N hummed. Looking to the piles of dirty dishes. Yup breakfast had to have ended already. “Oh, well…” V went quite, sheepishly rubbing her arm. “Y/n and Tessa missed breakfast today, so I…. Wanted to make them something.” Her explanation came out in a wobbly, mumbled tone, gaze glued to the pristine floors.

“Oooh, that sounds fun. Can we help?!” N cheered out, hands bundled up close to his chest, imaginary tail wagging back and forth. “Uhm, y-yes. Please, I appreciate it.’ She swallowed nervously with a sheepish chuckle. Feeling far to be embarrassed she was the slightest bit overwhelmed cooking alone.

“Smoke.” CYN happily spoke, pointing to the pancakes, a startled yelp ripped straight from V’s voice box as she rushed over, trying to flip the pancake only for it to pull a world renowned magic trick, pulling a disappearing act. The trick? Well it appears the backside decided to take on a lovely charred backside, blending in beautifully with the skillet.

Sighing she grabbed a new pan and started over. Scrapping her failure into the container along with all the other rubbish.

It was fine.

This time she'll be sure to pay more attention.

They all collectively decided to remake the batter whole, barely being enough of the original batter. Well N and CYN decided to deal with the pancakes. V was fixing what she threw earlier. The two drones stared curiously at the mixing bowl, unsure what the hell they were doing. “So uh… What should we do first? Dry ingredients first right?” N inquired, reading over the ingredients list.

Grabbing the 1 cup measuring tool he plopped in 3 fillings.  He glanced over to CYN who had taken out the sugar, nudging it over. Waiting for him to add it. “I uh, don't think the ingredients call for sugar little buddy.” He awkwardly chuckled, looking at the ingredients. But CYN didn't care, a little sugar never killed anyone. So while N wasn't looking she attempted to pour some in.
