Alr so, before we start there's two things I'd like to say.
The first is that there is a reason why the timeline is this fic is a bit skewed, so if you go onto my profile to the community tab and scroll down a bit it'll explain why like Uzi is roughly 20 in this fic despite Earth having blown up only 3 years ago roughly.
And secondly, I would like to make something clear right now, in this fic there is a high chance there'll be no smut. Is there a chance I'll make a chapter of that in the future? Maybe, who tf knows, I don't. But for rn, there's no plan to have a chapter of Y/n and V fucking. (On screen at least)------------------------------------------------------------------
Running through the snowy city Y/n felt his mind in a whirl, feeling uneasy so out in the open, he couldn't see even 20 feet in front of him, his own mind getting to him. Was he really hearing things? Were those actual screams he heard a day or so ago? Did he hear someone dying?! Was it from that one oddly similar drone he ran into? If so why didn't it kill him, what the hell was going on?!Finally making it back to the office building he's dubbed his momentary home, Y/n quickly rushed back in, making sure the doors were closed behind, was it doing much? Not in the slightest, but it still felt wrong leaving them wide open. Entering the room with all his stuff he sat himself in the chair, resting his head on the desk. The same two questions looping through his mind.
Who the hell was that?
And why does she look so much like V?
Obviously just a coincidence right? Like, there's no way in hell that psycho was V.
Exactly, the V you knew got startled by a door slamming too hard sometimes.
But her voice does sound similar too, not exactly the same but... The similarities are there.
No, no you're just overthinking. That is not V, it can't be. V is, or was, on Earth, there is no reason for her to be on Copper-9, and suddenly switch in such a drastic way. Besides, last you saw, she was basically comatosed and unfixable, so she probably... She probably just got destroyed when Earth did too.
Rather quickly Y/n's mind fell quiet, the thought hitting like a truck. Up till now he never really considered it but, maybe his friends are gone? Died on Earth with the planet. Machines aren't really seen as of high importance as humans so they wouldn't have gotten special treatment. But, if they're dead...
'I need to sleep.' Y/n mumbled, blankly staring down to the desk, trying to push back the possibility they could have died. Standing up he grabbed the blanket once again, laying down on the floor once again, getting in the same set up as last night, closing his eyes, shutting up any diverging thought that wasn't sleep, but just thinking about sleeping wasn't gonna help, so he distracted himself by replaying movie scenes in his head until his mind grew foggy enough to fully fall asleep, body going limp, breath evening out.
"Woah, there really is one!" A muffled voice ringed into Y/n's ear. "I thought they all die-" A small fwack heard shortly after. "Stop yelling moron. It's annoying." A second voice growled out, the first awkwardly apologizing. Feeling something touch his shoulder and lightly get shook, along with the mixture of irritating sounds Y/n slowly stirred awake, eyelids flickering open, seeing two blurred shapes. Blinking a few times he sat up, squinting at the figures. "Good, you're awake. Are you hurt in any way?" It almost took a minute for Y/n to process what he was seeing, nearly flinching back when he got a clear look of the two drones in front of him. "W-Wh, you g-... How... No?"
