Entering the library Y/n sat down near the catatonic drone, sparring her a sorrowful glance. ‘Hey V, hope ya been holding up alright.’ He mumbled before pulling up the laptop screen, a large splinter of cracks running along the screen, a result of little out lash some days ago. A static blur tracing the outer line of the crack, distorting all around it. Needing to scroll further down or up to make out whatever it was he needed to look at. But that wasn't really a problem, he wasn't doing anything. He couldn't do anything, staring blankly to the text on screen, hands held over the keyboard as if ready to begin typing.

With a sigh he closed the laptop, resting his head against the bookshelf. However this pointless sitting felt off, so he'd dejectedly reopen the laptop, attempting to type something, change anything of the code. His hands repeatedly going over the keyboard and tucking back by his sides, occasionally rubbing at his face trying to get his mind straight.

With a groan he closed it shut once again, haphazardly dropping it next to him with a small clatter, closing his eyes and letting his body go limp. ‘What the hell am I even doing.’ He grumbled to himself, raising a hand to rub his face, a blankness washing over his mind. He let this empty thinking over take, lying motionlessly in the library for who knows how long.

Eventually he was awoken N came into the library, greeting Y/n, the two sharing a small wave as Y/n sat up. “Hey bud, ya doing well?” Y/n questioned with a yawn, pushing himself up to not be as slumped over. “It's going great! I'm almost done with this new book about dogs, wanna see?” N eagerly begged, sitting next to Y/n. He stayed quiet for a minute, letting out a sigh before he smiled down to his friend. “Yeah, sure, let's see it.” Now brimming with excitement N scooted closer to Y/n, holding out the book, flipping through the pages and pointing out his most favorite details.

After showing off his most favorite they were just reading the book together, saying it aloud almost as if to basically read it out to V despite her unresponsive state. “This breed is known for its friendly, intelligent temperament, and soft golden coat! Golden Retrievers are also-” N paused as when he turned the page a drawing fell out. Recognizing the picture he picked it up, looking up to Y/n. “Ooh, I don't think I've shown you. It's a drawing I recently made, it's us all as lizards!”

Reaching out Y/n grabbed the drawing, mood souring rather quickly at one of the pieces. “And J just drew herself normally.” He sighed out, disappointed that J didn't join in their lizard-fication. “Wow this is uh… Pretty damn good.” He groaned out, folding the paper closed. “Really, really good… Your drawing skills are improving.” He mumbled, pocketing the drawing when he noticed the time. It was near the end of the day, soon the Gala shall be starting. He should really get ready.

Honestly he could care less about the gala today, he'd much rather be doing anything else, but is only going for Tessa. She's still stressed out, and after yesterday she doesn't wanna be alone even more. “Well, I should get going, talk to you later alright?” While unfortunate his friend was leaving, N didn't fight against, only giving a small nod. “Great.” Hosting himself up Y/n straightened out his outfit, glancing to V. “You'll take care of her while I'm gone, right bud?”

N eagerly nodded his head, smiling brightly. “Yup! I'll make sure nothing bad happens! You can count on me.” With a small chuckle Y/n patted the drone's shoulder, walking. “Good, I'll be counting on ya. See ya N…. See ya V.” Waving off the two he turned past the bookshelf, faintly hearing N calling out goodbye. Along with him clearing his throat, continuing to read out to V.
