Story Event: "Clearing the Mind"

---

Setting: Suzuki's Room - Evening

Suzuki sits on his bed, his phone in hand as he scrolls through the latest news updates. The bright screen illuminates his face in the dimly lit room, casting shadows on the walls. He’s been trying to stay grounded, focusing on normal things like school and hobbies, but with everything that’s been happening lately, it's been difficult.

His eyes land on an article about an upcoming baseball tournament, and for a brief moment, he feels a spark of excitement. Baseball has always been a big part of his life, something that brought him joy and a sense of normalcy. The tournament is just around the corner, and it’s something he would’ve normally been looking forward to.

But now, with all the chaos surrounding him—strange powers, battles with enemy shinobi, and encounters with people like Murasaki—he can’t help but feel distant from it all. The tournament, which once would have been his main focus, feels like it belongs to a different world, a world he’s slowly being pulled away from.

Suzuki (thinking): "I should be excited about this… but all I can think about is everything else going on. What am I even supposed to do?"

Sighing, Suzuki puts his phone down and rubs his eyes. The weight of everything is pressing down on him, and he knows he needs to find a way to clear his mind. He decides to head out for a walk, hoping that some fresh air will help him get his thoughts in order.

Setting: Local Park - Night

The cool evening breeze brushes against Suzuki’s skin as he walks through the quiet park. The sky above is a deep navy, dotted with stars, and the soft rustling of leaves creates a peaceful ambiance. This place has always been one of his favorite spots to unwind. It’s far enough from the busy streets that it feels like a small escape from the world.

He finds a secluded bench near a small pond, where the moonlight reflects off the water’s surface. Sitting down, he takes a deep breath, trying to push aside the thoughts of shinobi battles, mysterious powers, and looming threats. For now, he just wants to focus on something simple—something he can control.

Suzuki (thinking): "Baseball. The tournament. I need to get back to that. If I let all of this other stuff consume me, I’ll lose sight of who I am."

He closes his eyes and tries to visualize the game—the feel of the bat in his hands, the crack of the ball as it makes contact, the rush of adrenaline as he sprints around the bases. For a few moments, he lets himself get lost in those memories, reminding himself of the things that still matter to him.

But as much as he tries to focus on baseball, the strange new reality he’s found himself in keeps creeping back into his mind. The powers from the orbs, the encounters with people like Asuka and Murasaki, and the threats from the Bad Piggies… it’s all too much to ignore.

Suzuki sighs again, opening his eyes and staring up at the stars.

Suzuki (thinking): "I can’t just run away from all of this, can I? No matter how much I want things to go back to normal, they’ve already changed. I’ve changed."

He knows that he needs to find a way to balance both worlds—the normal life he’s always known and the new life he’s being pulled into. It won’t be easy, but he’s determined to figure it out. For now, though, he’ll take things one step at a time.

Setting: Park - Later

As Suzuki stands up to leave, he glances back at the pond one last time. The water’s surface ripples slightly in the breeze, a reminder that even in stillness, there’s always movement—always change.
