Setting: Anime Shop, Afternoon
Suzuki walks into the familiar anime shop, the scent of new manga and figurines filling the air. As he browses through the shelves, a strange sense of déjà vu washes over him. It feels like he’s been in this exact moment before.
Looking up, his eyes land on a familiar figure—Murasaki, standing in her usual quiet manner, clutching her stuffed bear, Bebeby. Suzuki pauses, blinking in surprise.
Suzuki: ("Didn't I already see her here once before?")
Murasaki, sensing his gaze, looks up from her own browsing. Her eyes widen slightly, and she gives a small, shy wave, Bebeby lifted up in her hand as if waving too.
Murasaki: "Oh… it’s you again. Hi."
Suzuki chuckles softly, stepping closer to her.
Suzuki: "Déjà vu… I feel like I’ve seen you in this shop before, in this exact way. It’s almost like we’re repeating a scene."
Murasaki nods, her eyes flickering with curiosity.
Murasaki: "It’s funny, isn’t it? Maybe we’re just meant to run into each other here."
Bebeby, through Murasaki’s ventriloquism, adds in a more confident tone.
Bebeby: "Or maybe you're just following me around, huh?"
Suzuki laughs, scratching the back of his head.
Suzuki: "If I am, I promise it’s unintentional. I just came here to relax."
Murasaki's expression softens, though she remains quiet for a moment. Then, out of nowhere, she takes a step closer and sniffs the air, much like she did the first time they met.
Murasaki: "You still smell... unusual. Like something powerful, but I still can’t place it."
Suzuki shrugs lightly, not wanting to delve too deep into his powers in a public space.
Suzuki: "I’ve been told that before. Maybe I’m just... unique?"
Bebeby, once again, takes the opportunity to speak up.
Bebeby: "Or maybe you're hiding something interesting. Not that we’re judging."
Suzuki smiles awkwardly, glancing around the shop as if looking for an escape.
Suzuki: "Well... it’s always nice running into you two. Maybe this anime shop is just our meeting place from now on."
Murasaki gives a small, rare smile in response.
Murasaki: "Maybe… I wouldn’t mind that."
With that, the sense of déjà vu lingers in the air as Suzuki and Murasaki continue browsing, each finding comfort in their shared silence.
