Setting: Hanzo’s Sushi Restaurant - Evening

The warm and inviting atmosphere of Hanzo’s sushi restaurant makes it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. The scent of freshly made sushi fills the air, and the sound of soft chatter creates a comfortable background noise. Asuka and Suzuki walk through the entrance, greeted by the familiar sights and sounds. Asuka is excited, yet a bit nervous, to introduce Suzuki to her grandfather, Hanzo.

Suzuki looks around in awe, taking in the cozy environment. He’s a little out of his element, but Asuka’s reassuring presence beside him helps ease his nerves. At the counter, Hanzo is busy preparing sushi with a steady hand, a serene expression on his face. As he notices Asuka and Suzuki approaching, a wide smile spreads across his face.

Hanzo: "Asuka! It’s always good to see you. And you’ve brought a friend?"

Asuka smiles warmly at her grandfather as she introduces Suzuki.

Asuka: "Yes, Grandpa. This is Suzuki, a friend from school."

Suzuki steps forward, feeling slightly awkward under Hanzo's warm gaze. He offers a polite bow.

Suzuki: "It's a pleasure to meet you, mister."

Hanzo chuckles softly, his eyes twinkling with amusement as he motions for them to sit at the counter.

Hanzo: "Oh, no need for formalities. Just call me Hanzo."

Suzuki nods, still feeling a bit out of place, but the warm atmosphere helps him relax. As Hanzo begins to prepare a few futomaki rolls, Asuka’s favorite, the conversation flows naturally. However, after a few minutes, Hanzo’s expression shifts slightly, his gaze growing a bit more focused as he turns his attention to Suzuki.

Hanzo: "So, Suzuki… I’ve heard some interesting things about you. Something about orbs that grant strange powers."

Both Asuka and Suzuki freeze, their eyes widening in shock. Neither of them had mentioned anything about the orbs to Hanzo—so how could he possibly know?

Suzuki: "H-How…? We didn’t…"

Asuka quickly recovers from her surprise, leaning forward with a confused expression.

Asuka: "Grandpa, how did you know about the orbs? We never told you."

Hanzo lets out a soft chuckle, his demeanor calm and wise. He places a freshly made futomaki roll in front of Asuka before looking back at Suzuki.

Hanzo: "I’ve lived a long life, my dear. There’s very little that escapes my notice, especially when it concerns something as unusual as shinobi business. And these orbs—well, they’re not something that a normal civilian should have."

Suzuki, feeling a bit exposed, shifts uncomfortably in his seat. He hadn’t expected to have this conversation, especially not with Asuka’s grandfather, who radiated a kind of knowing that made him feel as if he couldn’t hide anything.

Suzuki: "I… I’m not sure how it all happened. One night, my phone glowed, and suddenly, I had these powers. I can do things like the Angry Birds in that game. I didn’t ask for them, and I don’t really understand why they chose me."

Hanzo listens intently, nodding thoughtfully as he absorbs Suzuki’s words.

Hanzo: "Hmm… It seems fate has a way of intertwining itself with the unexpected. These powers may have been given to you for a reason, even if you don’t understand it yet. But be careful, Suzuki. Power like that can attract attention, both good and bad."
