Here is part 16, thank you for reading and please feel free to give any feedback I appreciate it! 🩶October was always a busy month for school and this year was no exception. It seemed like there were hardly any tests or assignments in September, but as soon as October came, all the students at East Highland were swamped.
The next little while for Nate and Juliana was a blur of school work, football and cheer practice, and in between, lots of cute dates and sex.
"I definitely failed that bio test," Juliana sighed as her and Nate sat down at a table at a little deli ten minutes away from school.
They were on lunch break and both agreed they needed to get out of school for a bit instead of staying in the cafeteria.
"I'm sure you did fine, Angel, you were doing good with the practice questions I was asking you last night." Nate assured her, reaching over the table to take her hands in his.
"Yeah, but of course not one of those questions were on the test." She rolled her eyes. "Let's just drop out and live in a van. We can travel across the country in it, like that couple on Instagram!"
"That sounds good to me. You know I'd follow you wherever you want to go." Nate said sweetly, kissing the top of her hand.
"How are you so cute all the time?" Juliana smiled at him.
Nate leaned across the table to kiss her, which was no trouble with his tall frame, and she kissed back just for a second before pulling back.
"What? I doubt we're going to see anyone here." Nate said.
"It is close to school, though." She replied, glancing around.
"I understand where you're coming from, but don't you think people are going to know eventually?" He asked gently.
They hadn't talked much about Juliana wanting to keep their relationship a secret since they went to school the day after they had gotten together for the first time.
"Yeah, I guess, but I'd like to enjoy each other in peace for just a little longer." She said, squeezing his hand. "Some of the cheer girls still ask if you're seeing anyone. It's a good thing I'm not the jealous type."
Nate laughed, partly at the thought of him possibly being interested in anyone besides her, and partly because he was the jealous type to the point of if a guy looked at her the wrong way it took all of his self control to not bash his fucking head in.
It was probably a good thing they weren't both like that.
His jealousy had gotten even worse since they had gone from friends to being together, which he hadn't even thought would be possible.
"Claire especially, she's been obsessed with you since like, last year. What if her and her friends tried to break us up? It wouldn't be the first time she did something like that." Juliana continued.
