Kai’s POV

I watched her as she typed in her name. She looked so happy as she smiled to herself over whatever she'd just typed in. I leant over to see, and laughed.

"BananaKatana?"

"What? It's cute!" I looked up at her, seeing her smile spread across her face.

"Wow. You're smiling. That's a first. You must be in a good mood - are you feeling okay?" She looked at me and laughed.

"I guess I must be sick. Not many people get to see this."

"See what?"

"My smile." She blushed and looked away.

"Are you playing or not? It's your turn!" I got up and had my go. I knocked 7 down - not too bad. Katana then went up and got a strike on her first go.

"And that's how you do it."

I rolled my eyes and muttered, "show off."

"You're just jealous." At that point our food arrived, and we ate it as we played.

Eventually we finished, with Katana easily winning - she scored well over 200 points, while I struggled to hit 100. We sat down and finished our food.

"How are you so good at it?" She replied, with a sad smile on her face.

"I guess being the best shooter in my family has its benefits. I've got a pretty good aim."

"Did you ever get a choice about being in the Mafia? Could you leave if you wanted to?"

"Nope. Stuck here for life. Unless I'm kicked out. Which seems likely at the moment."

"Do you wish you could leave? I mean... It seems like a lot of work. And shooting people."

"Being in the Mafia isn't like any normal job. I mean... Yeah. It sucks some times. But… It’s my family. And leaving the Mafia means leaving my family. And as much as they might hate me right now, I still… Love them. Well… Most of them, anyway."

"I'm guessing... Dante?" She sighed before nodding.

"It's hard. Being in the Mafia. But I wouldn't change it for the world."
