Mapi laid down on the physio bed ready for some stability tests with Jay.
"How's things Amiga?", Jay cocked her head.
"No no just asking about things in general" Mapi threw her hands up as if she was innocent.
"Things are fine Mapi", "is it weird seeing her?" Mapi asked.
"Of course it is, I'm mad at her but I don't want her to be sad all the time, she needs to move on with her life and I'll move on with mine" Jay said as felt around Mapis swollen kneecap for discomfort.

"So that's it?", Jay sighed and stopped what she was doing. "Mapi are we seriously talking about this now?" Mapi nodded "yes because I've never seen two people more in love Amiga. It breaks my heart" and then she did her large puppy dog eyes.
Jay snorted "you're relentless you know", "si but just hear her out" Jay nodded "in my own time" and that seemed to please the Spaniard who promptly shut up about the situation not wanting to push her only chance at a good recovery away.

As the day drew to an end Jay was making her way back to her car, she was exhausted barely putting one foot in front of the other. Being back with all this hanging over her head was taking its toll, her mind was inundated with thoughts of Alexia and being around her was relentless.
Lucy reached her before she could make her quick get away, Jay had been so in her own thoughts she didn't even hear her calling out her name. "Nope we're going for team coffee" Lucy said as she shut the door Jay had just opened with a soft thud.
Jay was too exhausted to argue and allowed Lucy to drag her to where a trail of Barcelona kit wearing girls were walking to the small coffee shop a mere five minutes away from training.

It was when they arrived she realised Alexia was there, she must of been walking at the front and on the journey Jay had been dragged into small talk with Lucy and Ona. A small smile was exchanged between the two as Jay found her seat between Keira and Aitana who were desperate to see Jays holiday photos, almost snatching the phone from her hand.

"Are you okay?" Irene asked Alexia who was sat quietly not saying much. "Si I'm okay" she said as she sipped her coffee taking another quick glance of Jay who was engrossed with her own annoying company.
Aitana and Keira were now scrolling through photos and photos on Jays phone and gushing.
"Ooooh nice bikini" nudged Aitana as Jay laughed muttering out a small "perv" before they all laughed like school children with the latest gossip around school.
"We need to go, was it expensive?" Aitana asked before Jay nodded "si, very but trip of a lifetime. Worth every penny".
Jays thoughts went back to the whole proposal she had set up waiting for her and Alexia when they were to arrive there. She had gone completely out of her way making sure it was perfect and she knew how desperate Alexia was to go to the Maldives.
She had asked permission from Eli and gone with Mapi to buy the ring, everything was how it was meant to be until it wasn't.

At the thought of it all Jay felt a lump coming up in her throat. "Look I'm gonna leave, I've got stuff to do" and she took her phone and waved goodbye to confused faces and left before anyone could question her.
Her journey back to her car she was in floods of tears, she pawed at her face furiously trying to compose herself. As she reached her car a hand stopped the door opening, the hand that had number 11 tattooed on it.
"Are you okay?", "Por favor Ale let me go, I just want to go home" Alexia shook her head.
"You're not driving while crying, let me drive you" she pleaded as she took Jays hands in hers.
"No I can't I'm sorry I can't" and she pulled her hands away and got in her car and drove off leaving Alexia standing there alone.
It was too much for her too soon and Alexia didn't argue she just listened to her wishes and let her go.

Alexia trudged back to the coffee shop where as she entered she shook her head letting the girls know Jay wasn't coming back. As she sat down she leant her head on Irene's shoulder. The group was quiet now, all clearly thinking about this messed up situation and how they could help bring the old Jay back.
